I want to praise Lindiwe At Bruvos for going the extra mile to assist me with the replacement of my burst Tyre. She followed up timeously and is always polite and genuine. Well done Bruvos on having an excellent employee.
No one advised me via email or anything that MTN was going to take away a portion of MY YELLOW BUCKS at the end of every month. I have remained loyal to MTN for over 25 years and this is how you treat customers? This is Shocking ! I only noticed this near the end of December, and did not take it up with MTN, as I was away and looking after my sister. I do not know how long you have been doing this and I Want my Loyalty Points ALL of them back. I also noticed when I looked at my other number that you had also taken away my loyalty point / yellow bucks. I needed airtime around early 6th January and could not even purchase a decent amount with the Bucks that were left. I got a mere R15.00 for 1500 points. "In fact, every R1 you spend on staying connected with us will earn you 1 YelloBuck." MTN words
We went to Apache River Spur last night for a friends little girls birthday. I was amazed at the speed we got our food as we were 6 Adults and 1 child. I am also so Happy that they have a Seniors' Special Menu. What amazing value for R99.90! You get choice of beverage, main meal and a dessert. I do hope all Spurs do this, as I am going away and hope in the province I go to, I can get this. The service was amazing, our waitress checked up on us. Thank you Apache Spur - Riverside.
Taken from my email to Heinz - Dec 9, 2021, 6:10 PM (5 days ago) We bought your product to try out and are Very Unhappy with the outcomes. The first 2 pizzas we made a week ago and got the same results. (Sent pictures to them to show clearly the uncooked dough.) The pizza was put into a preheated oven after a 10 minutes preheat and then onto 200 degrees as recommended, left for 18 minutes on the 2nd time round and still the dough did not cook through. Sub standard quality and can't even eat it. Threw half away as it was that Awful To date their customer care have not responded??
So, I am once again disappointed. I did a review on hello peter before, got a call telling me that ex gratia would be in touch. I cannot understand WHY Discovery cannot answer a customers question Properly. This is what I got from a consultant at ex gratia regarding my query: "My question was Why was I denied ex gratia, based on what criteria?" and all I get is probably this system generated letter as per below- We refer to the 2020 Ex Gratia request received for Mrs Taylor. Ex gratia is a discretionary consideration by Discovery Health Medical Scheme that does not set a precedent, where the Scheme believes that an exceptional situation exists which warrants funding. Discovery Health Medical Scheme reviews the exceptional clinical circumstances and extreme financial hardship of each individual application, while considering fairness to the overall membership. All cases are reviewed on an individual merit and on a case-by-case basis. Based on the information provided in 2020, your Ex Gratia request was reviewed and was declined. The Scheme's decisions are final and cannot be disputed or appealed. - So, according to them, my case is APPARENTLY NOT AN EXCEPTIONAL CASE AND I DON'T SUFFER FROM EXTREME FINANCIAL HARDSHIP!!! Tut Tut Tut Discovery, must I be living on the street to qualify? Very Disappointed. Added to this, Discovery have not even bothered replying to my Daughter's query for ex gratia assistance. Also same letter as I got, Not a plausible explaination.
After my review about the service from Discovery regarding our ex gratia application, I am happy to say that I got 2 phone calls today and an email in response to the review and that Discovery are going to "re-appeal" for this for both my daughter and myself. My only wish is that they grant us this much needed ex gratia. I feel it only fair that they really look at our application with positive outcomes. #WIN
I am so very disappointed and would give minus a star if I could for Discovery Health. Both myself and my daughter have applied for ex gratia and we have both been denied this WITHOUT REASONABLE EXPLANATIONS, and ONLY after making us wait for such a long time to get a DENIAL !!! This is nothing but Disgusting that you can deny people help after said person has stayed loyal to your Company for over 10 years now. Why does Discovery Health even have this financial aide available, if all you do is turn people away, especially when they need it most. I have been unemployed since Jan 2020 and requested ex gratia to get an MRI done, as there maybe a possible underlying cause for my Tinnitus, which I have been suffering with for over 2 years and which has rendered my unable to sleep properly, given me anxiety and there is so much more I want to say but my concentration is disrupted by the tinnitus. My daughter has impacted wisdom teeth and is in so much pain daily, that it affects her work. We both DO NOT HAVE a limitless supply of money to pay for these things and we were told to try requesting for ex gratia. I could go on and on but I don't have the strength to do this. DISCOVERY HEALTH, I hope you will answer this with reasons as to why you DENY people the help they need.
In all honesty after being an MTN Client for over 20 years, I am now very irked by their utter Inability to do a job right / correct. I really didn't want to do this But I have to. I just cannot understand how MTN are training their consultants? I have been trying to change my physical address for months and months now, I have emailed with my Correct address, I have called and spelt Out each word I have posted to their FB messenger page - again typed the address out for them - And What have they done- Changed my address to an address I had NOT given them, Suburb not even the one I live in. Now I have to email and call and beg and plead again to have it changed, and they will make me WAIT AGAIN. I truly think this Service from them is utterly incomprehnsable. I wish this was a Positive review, however I cannot give this Company more than 1 Star. I would only buy Lucozade for myself or my children when we were not well, ie flu, tummy bug etc. and it helped a lot. Today, I bought a 500ml for R 21.99 and on taking my first sip, I discovered the absolutely Awful Taste of Aspartame. It was disgusting. I have not had sugar in tea or coffee, or ANY cooldrink that has artificial sugar for the past 14 years. Many foods and drinks that carry the label “sugar-free” may contain some form of artificial sweetener. There is NOTHING like this on the bottle's label. If I had seen it, I would not have wasted my money buying it. I will NEVER buy this product again. DOWN WITH ASPARTAME !
Ellis Park Butchery is a family run business and has been around for a very long time. This past week I bought meat from them and I must say the quality is far greater than any other Butcher I have been to. The curry I made 2 days ago was simply delicious. The beef was so soft, and I did not have to cook for a long time to get that softness. All the staff are friendly and always ready to assist. The lady that attended to me, packed my meat in such a way as to save space in my freezer. I will continue to use Ellis Park as they are absolutely Tops.
