I'm trying really hard to cancel my subscription before the next payment. This is what I've been trying for the past week: 1. Watched and read tutorials. The option to cancel is not in the interface. Maybe it changed, but I can't find it. 2. Emailed three different emails that I found in various places related to cancelling my subscription. 3. Made contact on Facebook messenger. 4. Tried the bot on the site. No Luck :(
I was charged R1 by quench, without any orders, just after I tried to place an order, which didn't go through. Feels dodgy. When I enquired I was told that this is account validation and that it's standard across all apps. Have never had this with any other app.
I bought a Defy stove through Macro and had it delivered Oct 2018. I don't use the oven much, but then a month or so later I discovered that the oven doesn't close properly, so I can't bake anything in it. Took me months to finally get someone to come and look. A technician fiddled and left. The improvement was about 10%. I've now been trying a couple more months to get this fixed, but still no help. In total it's been 10 months of trying to get this sorted. Macro refuses to replace the oven or refund me, Defy just doesn't get back to me and in the meantime I can't use the stove that I bought brand new. I would not recommend anyone buying through Macro or buying a Defy product. The service has been non existent.
11th of May - Around this date two orders were delivered. I kept some things and booked a return for some. May 21 - I was still waiting for it to be collected. And had to ask again for collection to happen May 28 ish - It was collected. May 29 - I got a message that one of the order's refund is in process. So i had to ask again about the second one. May 30 - I got a message that my refund was paid and it will take 3 - 5 working days to show in my account. June 11 - still nothing is June 13 - I phone AGAIN and was told it will be sorted that day. June 21 - still nothing. Spree owe's me R9,563.00!!! I'm beginning to wonder if the company is in financial trouble and trying to avoid refunding me? I'm really shocked at this obvious avoidance or refunding me for products that were returned in perfect condition. I would recommend that anyone thinks very carefully before shopping from them. This is a nightmare.
