I purchased a box of Stuyvesant Boost from the OK MINI MART in Eversdal today. I was charged R53.99 for a box. I have NEVER paid that much. The normal price is R48.99 everywhere else, including convenience stores. It’s an absolute DISGRACE!!!!
I would express my utter DISAPPOINTMENT in CATTLE BARON DURBANVILLE. I ordered a 300g sirloin steak and a milkshake AS A TAKEAWAY for R350!!! My milkshake came in a small takeaway cup, almost like a kiddies shake. My steak was tasteless. I duly complained to the restaurant itself and all I got in return were excuses. I will NEVER EVER order from them again and I would CAUTION against doing so.
My experience with MARLIN CREDIT and GMT is nothing short of a NIGHTMARE. Despite my daily communication with all parties concerned my bank account was continually DEBITED without my AUTHORISATION. As a result I incurred excessive bank charges. I would then have to contact Marlin Credit once AGAIN and fight with them to return the debited amount. This happened so many times I lost count. The daily FRUSTRATION was debilitating. I have never in my life had such BAD service, bordering on *****. I would like to WARN any future customers of MARLIN CREDIT and GMT’s GROSS MISCONDUCT!!!!

UNPROFESSIONALISM AT IT’s ULTIMATE!!! My history with Mellins goes back to the beginning of June 2024. I saw an adverti*****t on a social media platform and decided to try Mellins. The branch closest to my location was out of my way. However I decided to make the appointment regardless. The optometrist who conducted my eye test was rather pecu**** and very abrupt but I chose to ignore it. After the consult I chose frames for both prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses. My bill came to approximately R20 000. I paid for the consultation immediately and their ‘special’ was that the rest of the bill would be split into 3 instalments that would be debited from my bank account. I completed the relevant documentation and was told that I would receive a call within 2 weeks to collect my glasses. Two weeks went by and I started calling the PALM GROVE branch to enquire where my glasses were. I kept getting told that they would follow up and call me back. THEY NEVER CALLED. I had to keep calling them. EVENTUALLY I called once AGAIN and was told that they had NOT even ordered my glasses because I was considered a ‘credit risk’. This was 3 weeks after my initial consultation. I lost it and told them to CANCEL my order and to refund my consultation fee. Lo and behold a week later my bank account was debited my Mellins for R6866. I freaked and immediately contacted Mellins. It took them over a week to refund the debited amount despite trying to refund a lesser amount. HOWEVER I am still WAITING for a REFUND of my consultation fee. I phone every day to NO AVAIL. I AM UTTERLY APPALLED and I would like to FOREWARN any future ‘customers’ of Mellins. I subsequently tried EXECUSPECS and I am delighted to report that their service has been EXEMPLARY.
APPALLING SERVICE!!! I placed a significant order with Cielo/Wheco. My delivery was delayed and it finally arrived after 19h00 in the evening in the rain. After unpacking the items I discovered that 2 of the items were damaged. That was 2 weeks ago. I am still WAITING for replacement items and have dealt with 5 or more staff members and still have NO clarity as to when my replacement order will be delivered. I am extremely DISSATISFIED with the service I have received and would like to WARN future customers of CIELO/WHECO.
