I've read a lot of reviews about this place.. They tend to be either very positive or very negative. We've been there twice now and I honestly love it. It's a fantastic water park, a really great place to take the kids for the day, and their rates are really reasonable. Yes you have to book in advance, but I'm really glad that they are limiting entrance now as it can get overcrowded easily and that poses a lot more of a safety risk and makes it less fun for everyone. (people pushing, getting overexcited, having to wait in long lines) We witnessed people throwing horrendous tantrums at the entrance for being turned away.. Seriously people - it's the busy season. It's no fun for anyone when it's overcrowded and it makes it unsafe. So make a booking.. In advance.. They posted it on their site that they're full.. It's your own poor planning if you can't get in. About what I've read: Yes, they're not great at answering the phones, but they don't have a lot of staff running such a big place. So check their peak hours and phone back during the times they're less likely to be swamped. I had to phone a number of times to get an answer.. Really not that big of a deal. I called back at least twice to check they'd received my payment and my booking was in order. Yes, kids can get hurt.. But that can happen anywhere, even at home. Children are your responsibility as a parent. Some injuries can't be helped. Some of the finishes are a bit cheap.. really? You pay more to go to a movie, or eat out. Here you can spend the whole day, and not spend anymore than your entrance.. How can you complain about that? I'm saddened that some say there's racism. I found everyone to be really friendly. Especially that drunk guy . . . that was out of line (don't hit on married momma's in their costumes with a drink in your hand.. not cool dude, it makes us uncomfortable). So maybe I got called a racist that day. But for the rest we all got a long, enjoying the sun and the water and seeing our littles have a good time. Yes we do things a little differently, but no one's better than the next. Maybe we all need to be a little more tolerant and respectful towards each other.

Thank you to ExtremeV for their very fast and efficient service.

They were happy to supply us with numerous quotes while we customised our jungle gyms. We ended up paying late on a Friday afternoon, and the next day, Saturday morning they were at our house to install. By Saturday afternoon we had our new jungle gym. Almost couldn't believe how quickly it happened.

Our car was stolen this afternoon. It was parked outside (along with a number of others) while we were visiting friends for their kid's birthday party.

The car was recovered a few km away abandoned in a shopping center parking lot.

Netstar found the car and we had it back in an hour after. (Unfortunately damage to the ignition, but that's minor considering what could have happened).

Thank you to Netstar for the speedy reaction.

For more than a month my babies nappy was never changed. Every time I collected her, her diaper was soaked or soiled. They also regularly leave babies and toddlers in front of the TV.

When I reported it, one of the caretakers became extremely antagonising towatds me, because I had gotten them into trouble.

Manager and staff handled the matter extremely unprofessionally and should have dealt with it confientially.

I now have to travel 45mins out of my way to go to another gym to avoid these rude and negligent staff.

Went in at 8:00 and left at 9:30. An hour and a half for and eye test and payment. Their systems are ridiculously slow, just waiting for them to print out an invoice takes too long. Their systems and machines were not up and running at 8:00, and we had to wait for everything to come online as well.

I had a toddler with me and to wait an hour and a half in a shop while they stare at the screen and wait. was an absolute nightmare.

Came to spec-savers because they're on the Discovery Network, but the cash price was less then what I would have paid out of pocker if I had put it through the medical aid!

Also disgusted that this pair of glasses costs double what my last pair cost at another optimistrist a year ago.

Will not be coming back here ever

Thank you to Mrs Kumalo and the Midrand Licensing Department. My husband and I both did our motorcycle drivers test today. As nervous as I was, and as unpleasant as the day was in the scorching heat, Mrs Kumalo was very friendly and efficient. Thank you for a good experience.
