FIRSTLY, When you arrive you stand in a horribly LONG QUE! the "Booking" system is completely useless because they just sell tickets to everyone! The only people with references were those who booked a Lapa. NO SECURITY CHECKING BAGS for dangerous weapons for illegal substances ect. Everyone is just allowed in. Secondly, THE PLACE IS VERY OVERCROWDED! they honestly just wanted to make money and disregarded the safety of the people that were there! The was NO OPEN space left, each and every corner was filled with people! NO SOCIAL DISTANCING IN QUE TO SLIDES NO SOCIAL DISTANCING ANYWHERE PEOPLE WERE PACKED ONTOP OF EACH OTHER. UNSAFE for children. The place was so OVERCROWDED that it was uncomfortable for kids to be there because at every corner was a group of men drinking and being loud. Drunk people swimming in the pool and causing havoc. POOR MAINTENANCE, there were 3 slides NOT WORKING. the other slides has waiting times to fill up water. The place was so full that you had to wait such a long time to go on any slide! THE ENTIRE AREA WAS FULL OF MUD. We got there at 9:30am and literally couldn't find any dry grass to sit by and ended up sitting next to a pile of MUD! I understand that the rain was out of the resort control however surely they know that the grass and place gets that way after rain so they should have rather turned people away instead of let them sit in piles of MUD. TOILETS, toilets are dirty, poorly maintained and definitely not enough of them for the amount of people they allow there.

I have just gotten off the phone with the most incompetent person at company. presumably the manager. I was issued a receipt for a refund last week Thursday due to the whole debacle of load shedding and no warning from Zambibush that load shedding will affect us. Your manager confirmed that the refund will be issued to me. I left my banking details for the R480 to be refunded back to my account. It is now a whole week later, I phoned and spoke to the manager who is utterly USELESS!! I asked her the same question about 10 times yet she refused to answer it. I don't know if this is because she is dense or just terrible at dealing with customers. She kept telling me that the accounts lady has responded to my email - yet no email has been received. I would not be surprised if she was lying to me. Please issue my refund ASAP so that I can put this whole thing behind me as this has left the most terrible taste in my mouth!!!!!

Booked a Lapa 3 months prior the date and got to the resort, queued for 3 hours for the tickets and later told they were sold out. What is the whole point of booking if I'm not even going to get an entry to the resort.

Filth dirt and dreads lying everywhere. Unfriendly and attacking staff terrible deceit of amenities and activities offered. Half the amenities don't even work and the under roof area is a hoax not even completed with dead mice in the pool. Ugh ugh ugh totally and utterly disgusted.

I think if there was a 0 at review it would be better to describe Zambibush!! We were at the Resort on saturday. First of all the lifeguards are useless, inexperienced and RUDE!! My boyfriend and I went for a swim and unluckily he fell on my face in the water after we went together on a slide. In the water were SHARP pieces of fiberglass which was pushed into my nose WHICH COSTS ME THOUSANDS OF RANDS TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL TO GET EVERYTHING removed! The lifeguard who came to assist me after the incident wanted to use Savlon to clean my nose. Okay so who the F$$$ uses Savlon to clean such a wound?? and the best part is he said he is First aid qualified! I do not think so!! They took our details and we haven't heard from them! Their staff is very very very incompetent and have no people s****s neither can they deliver a service the way it should be delivered! Its almost a week later and we haven't heard anything. It's not like you can just ignore these things especially not after the deaths that has happened there!

Went to Zambibush on the 01.01.2018 , the man and woman working at the entrance were extremely rude , I understand their policy that on holidays bookings must be made unfortunately i did not know that at the time, when i asked for confirmation the lady harshly said "you have no booking you' must go. I would hate to think it was also a racist statement. such a wonderful place but with staff that talks to its client in that manner is very humiliating to me as a client and disappointing.

I've read a lot of reviews about this place.. They tend to be either very positive or very negative. We've been there twice now and I honestly love it. It's a fantastic water park, a really great place to take the kids for the day, and their rates are really reasonable. Yes you have to book in advance, but I'm really glad that they are limiting entrance now as it can get overcrowded easily and that poses a lot more of a safety risk and makes it less fun for everyone. (people pushing, getting overexcited, having to wait in long lines) We witnessed people throwing horrendous tantrums at the entrance for being turned away.. Seriously people - it's the busy season. It's no fun for anyone when it's overcrowded and it makes it unsafe. So make a booking.. In advance.. They posted it on their site that they're full.. It's your own poor planning if you can't get in. About what I've read: Yes, they're not great at answering the phones, but they don't have a lot of staff running such a big place. So check their peak hours and phone back during the times they're less likely to be swamped. I had to phone a number of times to get an answer.. Really not that big of a deal. I called back at least twice to check they'd received my payment and my booking was in order. Yes, kids can get hurt.. But that can happen anywhere, even at home. Children are your responsibility as a parent. Some injuries can't be helped. Some of the finishes are a bit cheap.. really? You pay more to go to a movie, or eat out. Here you can spend the whole day, and not spend anymore than your entrance.. How can you complain about that? I'm saddened that some say there's racism. I found everyone to be really friendly. Especially that drunk guy . . . that was out of line (don't hit on married momma's in their costumes with a drink in your hand.. not cool dude, it makes us uncomfortable). So maybe I got called a racist that day. But for the rest we all got a long, enjoying the sun and the water and seeing our littles have a good time. Yes we do things a little differently, but no one's better than the next. Maybe we all need to be a little more tolerant and respectful towards each other.
