Dealing with Sentinel for a pension transfer according to the divorce decree. When I initially spoke to them two weeks ago regarding this, the lady I spoke to told me that they have already app**** for the tax directive. I phoned again today and the gentleman was very arrogant. He told me that they are awaiting the funds to be transferred into the client's name. I asked him to confirm whether they app**** for the tax directive or not. He told me that they cannot apply for the tax directive until the funds reflect in the client's name. I asked him how long the process would take and he said 10-12 weeks. This is a breach of the pension act which says it must be transferred within 60 days. We will be going to the Pension Fund Adjudicator.

Usually TCG is good, but when it goes bad it’s a nightmare. I have been waiting almost three weeks for my order to be delivered. They have lost my parcel twice during this period, and every time I phone, they tell me “we will deliver your parcel today”. At the end of the day when it doesn’t arrive, I have to waste my time phoning their call centre going through 2-3 agents trying to sort it out, because best believe they won’t go out of their way to inform you why it was not delivered. This went on for about 2 weeks almost every day. For some reason they delivered my parcel in Midrand, but I’m in Pretoria. They then picked up the parcel from Midrand to deliver to Pretoria. I initially gave them my work address, but had to change it to my home address because they took so long to deliver. I contacted them three times asking them to please deliver to my home address, and every time they would still try to deliver to my work address. I still do not have my parcel, and am not confident that I will get it any time soon. Just hope that if your parcel ever gets lost, you don’t have Mario trying to sort out your case. His actions have shown that my case is not a priority.
