I am lodging this complaint regarding unresolved issues involving Chery Groblersdal and the subsequent failure of escalation to the Chery SA and Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa (MIOSA). The original dispute arose from my dealings with Chery Groblersdal, which resulted in significant delays and an unresolved matter. Due to the extended delay and lack of resolution, my vehicle has since been written off. While the vehicle outcome has been settled through insurance, my complaint relates to the financial prejudice caused by the prolonged delay and failure to properly resolve the matter in a timely manner. This matter was escalated to MIOSA under reference number 515282/RW. However, despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received any response, update, or outcome.
Not happy with Chery Hatfield. I have booked my car for service on the 14 May 2025, and it was not serviced. Asked to bring it again on the 15 May 2025, then I was serviced, On the 19 May 2025 the car overheated. I send an email and get a respond on the 20 to call Chery roadside assistance. I responded that I had to go to the garage and purchase the coolant to get home. I was unavailable on the 20th to take in the car to the dealership, and the agreement was that I bring the car on Thursday, and I did that, sadly I was told that they have lot of cars, I can leave it for them to check and will get it on Monday. I could not because that is my only car, and I need it every day. So, the agreement was to bring it on Monday, the 24 May, which I did, and my car has been there for a week now. I was told that they are waiting for authorisation for a warranty part. I am not being updated as what is happening and the progress. The service is very bad and I am disappointed Currently, I am not sure what is happening
I have not received my parcels despite the everyday phone calls that I made tracking my parcels. I decided to request duty and taxes refund and the buffalo does not want to refund me. I send emails, whatsapp chat and still nothing. I want my money back the agents are so rude as if they are the once that are paying yet is me a customer paying their salaries.
