On Sunday 14 November 2021 we had huge hail storm damage. My car windscreen and back window broke i can't even drive with my car the windscreens will fall out. So my broker send me the claim forms for the windscreens and the damage to my cars body. We took pictures and send the documents back on Thursday afternoon (also for the house hold contents) Friday morning they send me emails confirming the assessors that will make booking with me. Assessor for car came today and tomorrow the assessor for the contents will come out. Im struggling with the house insurance so as from next year im going to move the house (building) insurance to Bryte as well. Monday Wednesday and Saturday vodacom had outrages in our town. From Saturday our internet is down by Sunday evening from 250 ppl down to only 40 down. So they say. They gave me an sr number. Every person im talking to from Saturday tells me something els. From 3 previous experiences from vodacom internet down when you get sr num the technician should phone you an arrange an booking. Monday afternoon no technician phoned yet. One lady says that i have to phone in every now and again to hear if the outrages have been cleared if it is and im still down only then will the technician come. Because of vodacom ppl are losing work and customers and even jobs. Im just waiting for mtn to get their fibre up and running and then ill be switching my 3 cellphones and fibre to mtn. This is the 4th time this year that vodacom fibre disappointing me. The pervious time we where down more than a week. If you can't provide good fibre rather don't do it at all
If i could give 0 star i would. I got vodacom fibre. What alot of bs. Since i got it Feb April and now May month i have issues with the internet no connection for more than 7 days at a time. So for 1 month its going well next month i don't have wifi connection. And when i phone and ask for senior person they tell me they are in a meeting or busy. They will send them an email to contact me. No one contacts me ever. Vodacom is in breach of their end of the contract and i spoke to my attorney and we are going to sue vodacom and cancel the fibre line without any penalties
So on Wednesday the technician told me they need to install new fibre lines. He phoned the company and arranged time and date the lady on the phone confirmed it with me as well for Friday 23 April 2021 at 13:00. So Friday 13:00 came no technician. I phoned vodacom they can only escalate the problem. So i phoned universal more than 40 times. Eventually i got hold of Amos at the company no the time is for 16:00 so 16:30 came no technician phoned universal again more than 20 time spoke to Amos again no they assigned something els to the technician he wouldn't be able to come to our house. Amos then told my husband that he will phone on Saturday and arrange for installation on Sunday Saturday came no one phoned Sunday came no one showed or phoned. I dont have internet connection since Wednesday 21 April 2021. This is the 2nd time this happens the previous time the technician booking was for Wednesday he only showed up the Friday and did not install the new lines that was on his job card.
So we got Vodacom Fibre installed Nov. Was going good until Monday 8 February 2021 our fibre went down i phoned vodacom one guy said oh 84 people in our town is down i have to wait they will fix it so 2 hours later phoned again other guy told me only 6 people fibre is down got SR nr (SR 210209-181449) Tuesday down phoned oh they have an outage in area have to do troubleshooting did it nothing happend. Wednesday still down Thursday down Friday down (i phoned everyday and got different stories) ok so Friday down logged my own SR for the down wifi yeah it came back up for 3hours then we did speed test pur contract is for 20mbs line we only received.0.5mbs ridiculous so hubby is on the phone with vodacom oh they have to send technician bit they only work Mondays to Friday which means we will not have wifi for the weekend we cannot go into Neflix or youtube i cannot even go onto facebook thats how slow the line is but i pay for 20mbs. Then the lady my husband spoke to said she will find an technician and phone him back at 21:00 she did not phone back. About 20:30 the wifi went down again. I logged 3 SR with vodacom on the app SR nrs are SR210212-198919 & SR210212-198617 and SR210212-195241. Its Saturday morning and the wifi is still down. So now i pay for service that im not receiving and have to buy data for my phone and airtime that i phone out on vodacom everyday and have to buy data for my daughter as well. I have the right to canmy contact early because vodacom fibre did not keep their part of the contract. Regards Madeline
