I concur with all the 1 star reviews here. Have had 2 HORRIBLE experiences with 1-grid and another horror story happened yesterday. Do not use them.
I had an amazing experience at the Eastgate iStore from Bonolo and his technical team member (I am sorry I cannot recall his name). They went out of their way on a busy Saturday to resolve a technical issue of mine on my MacBook Pro. What a pleasure during a very traumatic time for me. This level of service is what makes SA great. Thanks guys.
Once again, Rain, you are a joke. i have been trying since 12h00 yesterday to get some answers about why I do not have internet, and why know one can tell me anything. I have logged over 20 tickets, spammed your social media, and sent over 200 DMs (which I got one response to, so someone is getting it). The only reason I still use you is that there is no fibre in my area. I have used over R1,500.00 in data yesterday to try and meet deadlines promised to my clients. Why can no one phone? You would be quick to turn my services off if I do not pay at the end of the month, would you not? So, how can I tell my clients, "Oh, I have no internet, and I have depleted my bank account on data, so I cannot fulfill my promise to complete your work even though you have paid." Does that sound fami**** Rain? I have lost thousands in revenue over the past 20 hours (for the umpteenth time while using you over the last 3 and a half years). How do you expect anyone to value your service? Yet, if I fill in a contact form to upgrade, someone phones me within a few minutes, but over 20 tickets cannot be bothered to even grace me with a reply, after asking and pleading. Phone me and sort this issue out, do not tell me xyz, my two neighbours have Rain and they have not had any issues!!!! +27 83 864 1161

After trying for 2 months via call centres, call me backs, emails and social media contacts, rain have finally sent a technician to my premises. I have been told all the excuses that you might be fami**** with that rain always had. I run an online marketing company, and require high speed internet. In the last 2 and a half weeks, I lost a big client as during a presentation, I was delayed on a teams meeting and my screen was blurry. In the last 3 weeks, I have not got an upload speed of more than 2mbs (I have a 100mb line) - and my download hovers around 27mbs. This is complete nonsense. The only reason I am not on fibre, is because in my area there is one ISP for fibre, and they have weekly issues, and I cannot afford down time. I am always online, and the fact that it takes me 3 hours to upload a 500mb file is an absolute joke. I am moving to LTE. Rain's response time and excuses is an absolute joke. And the cost for a "dial up connection" is an utter waste. Rather spend a bit more per month for good service and a stable and fast connection.
