I app**** for a loan at this company, a few days ago. They emailed me with a printed page of the terms and conditions of the loan. I called the NCR to make sure that they were a legit company to load money from. They told me yes, so i carried on and i emailed them back saying that i was interested to make a loan. In the terms and conditions it said that i would have to pay then R2 800 per month for 5 years to get a loan of R150 000. It seemed like a good deal. I dont pay much every month and i could barely keep by, i couldnt even make it to the end of the month with my pay. I need to pay my childrens schools fees every month, i have 3 kids i have to take care of, i have to pay rent, i need to buy food etc. This deal seemed to good to be true when they offered it to me. Now in the terms and conditions they also said that i had to pay a initiation fee of R3 299 and then after that they would pay my money into my back account after 30 minutes i made the payment. The next day i went to a loan place in my town and they gave me R4 200 and i gave them the amount that they had mentioned. I waited and waited but nothing and this was on a friday. After 3 hours of waiting i called them and asked if they received the money they said yes and then they said that had a lot of payouts that day, so i understood that and said okay and they hung up. The next day i emailed them and called them but they didnt answer. They werent open on sundays so on monday i called and emailed again, this time they answered the email saying that the payment was confirmed and they made an additional account for me to transfer the money into my bank account because they said if they tried to transfer me the money it would bounce back because the bank declared it foreign. Now by this time i was getting hopeless because it sounded like they kept making excuses. The next day i tried to open the account that they had sent the money into and tried to transfer it into my account but then it said that it needed a code for the final step. I emailed them and asked for the code but they said that i had to pay R 4 900 to receive the code. Now i have lost all hope because i gave all my money to them. I dont have any money left, i cant put food on the table for the next weeks that coming, i cant pay my childrens school fees. They ****med me after i even called the NCR to confirm and i am a single parent which makes it even harder for me.
Today i left a Usave bag at the parcel counter at Pick n Pay Malmesbury. They gave me a token it was 93, when i came back maybe an hour or hour and a half later to collect my Usave bag that cost me almost R300 btw, it was gone. How can you give someone a bag but they didnt give you a token for the bag then whats the point of even having tokens then. They said that i must wait there while they check the security cameras, it was an hour later and they came back and told me that they will keep checking. After that i just said its fine and i left without my stuff, they didn't do a single thing that was even helpful.
My phone number could not receive any calls since from last week 07 July 25.When I phoned the number an unknown male.then i checked my messages and saw that there was a sim swap done on the 7th without my consent.All my accounts is linked to this number.Was looking for customer care number to speak to a consultant on google but could not find any must speak to Tobi a machine that could even assist me.Just how is it possible that a big company like Vodacom does not have a customer care line where you can speak to a consultant and I phoned them from yesterday and still busy online and must repeat myself every time once done they disconnect me then i must phone again.Cant even phone from a landline very poor service.Whats the point of customer care if they dont even help and now must I specially take a day off at work too sort this out.When I try to phone from my number it gives error it says service not registered to a network but my whatsapp is working but I am really stressed cause my bank and work and all other accounts is linked to this number,and the worst part is cant get hold of someone who I can speak too.Very, Very, disappointing
I am very disappointed with my telkom service. My husband died three years ago and the phone which is a landline was registered on his name, march 2024 they asked me to migrate it to my name and account since he passed and he cant make payment, i said yes but they askdd for a fee and it R3010.40c and i paid it full. Ever since i paid the phone was working for a week and after that it didnt work again, but mind you i still paid my montly fee of R650 to keep the phone working but i havent been able to make or receive calls from my phone even though i have paid. I have called and called the telkom headquarters but the only answer i get is that the phone is canceled but i never canceled the phone i think its a ****ing **** just to get money out of me and everyone else. I dont recommend using telkom or if you do just use it to buy airtime but dont use it if you have a landline because then your going to be ****ed.
