I am unfortunately one of the consumers who fell prey to Isilinganiso's predatory, ********* and ******* practices. My loan was approved and I was asked to pay an initiation fee of R4499. I foolishly ignored this red flag and paid R3700 of the initiation fee with the promise that funds would be transferred immediately into my account. This never happened and all my follow up messages were ignored by the admin manager Zinhle. I tried to reverse my transaction at the bank and Capitec confirmed that the funds were already withdrawn from a suspicious "M Smith" personal account. I told the admin manager I would be reporting this to the regulator and the police and she told me to go ahead. I renounced my loan and asked only for a refund of the R3700 and they refused to process same. I have since reported this entity to 3 authorities and I am consulting with an attorney to pursue legal action. Do not fall prey to these ******* and ********* lenders

I recently app**** for a loan through this business and was initially relieved to hear that my application had been approved, especially considering that I am currently under debt review. However, what followed raised serious concerns about the legitimacy and ethical conduct of this lender. Shortly after receiving the “approval,” I was informed that I would be required to pay an initiation fee of R3 499 upfront before the loan could be released. I questioned this immediately, as reputable lenders generally deduct such fees from the loan amount itself rather than requiring cash payments beforehand. When I asked the consultant to explain why the payment had to be made in advance and could not simply be deducted from the loan, she responded vaguely, stating only that it was “company policy” and that I had the right to decline the offer. Her inability to provide clear assurance that the loan would indeed be paid out after the fee was made me even more uncomfortable. This interaction came across as evasive and raised significant red flags. Furthermore, I was encouraged to check HelloPeter, where the consultant claimed there were no negative reviews. However, I am well aware that some companies write or manipulate their own positive reviews to mislead consumers. This only added to my scepticism. In my view, demanding an exorbitant upfront fee of R3 499 before releasing a loan is highly questionable and not standard practice among legitimate lenders. I am submitting this report to caution others and to highlight what I believe to be a potentially predatory lending practice.

I app**** for loan at this business and I was thrilled when they said I was approved as someone whose under debt review. To my surprise I was advised that according to their policy I had to pay an initiation fee of more than 3000 to access the approved funds. I don’t know if it’s normal business practices with lenders to demand that much before getting the approved loans. I felt very sceptical when I requested the admin person there to elaborate why must I pay to get money shouldn’t they take the admin service fee from the actual loan. And she mentioned that it’s their company policy that I have a right to decline the offer. That as it is was a huge red flag as she failed to assure me that the money will be paid to my account as soon as I pay them the huge amount of service fee. I am aware that most companies write their own reviews to **** people. She further stated tone that I should check HelloPeter there’s nothing in them. I’m just not sure about this business practices

I app**** for a loan at this company, a few days ago. They emailed me with a printed page of the terms and conditions of the loan. I called the NCR to make sure that they were a legit company to load money from. They told me yes, so i carried on and i emailed them back saying that i was interested to make a loan. In the terms and conditions it said that i would have to pay then R2 800 per month for 5 years to get a loan of R150 000. It seemed like a good deal. I dont pay much every month and i could barely keep by, i couldnt even make it to the end of the month with my pay. I need to pay my childrens schools fees every month, i have 3 kids i have to take care of, i have to pay rent, i need to buy food etc. This deal seemed to good to be true when they offered it to me. Now in the terms and conditions they also said that i had to pay a initiation fee of R3 299 and then after that they would pay my money into my back account after 30 minutes i made the payment. The next day i went to a loan place in my town and they gave me R4 200 and i gave them the amount that they had mentioned. I waited and waited but nothing and this was on a friday. After 3 hours of waiting i called them and asked if they received the money they said yes and then they said that had a lot of payouts that day, so i understood that and said okay and they hung up. The next day i emailed them and called them but they didnt answer. They werent open on sundays so on monday i called and emailed again, this time they answered the email saying that the payment was confirmed and they made an additional account for me to transfer the money into my bank account because they said if they tried to transfer me the money it would bounce back because the bank declared it foreign. Now by this time i was getting hopeless because it sounded like they kept making excuses. The next day i tried to open the account that they had sent the money into and tried to transfer it into my account but then it said that it needed a code for the final step. I emailed them and asked for the code but they said that i had to pay R 4 900 to receive the code. Now i have lost all hope because i gave all my money to them. I dont have any money left, i cant put food on the table for the next weeks that coming, i cant pay my childrens school fees. They ****med me after i even called the NCR to confirm and i am a single parent which makes it even harder for me.

These guys are frausters. They take money upfront and then you don't hear from them again. Please beware!

Stay away from this company. They require upfront fees and never pay out your loan. They don't answer calls or messages. They ask for R2999 - don't pay any upfront fees!
