I am unfortunately one of the consumers who fell prey to Isilinganiso's predatory, ********* and ******* practices. My loan was approved and I was asked to pay an initiation fee of R4499. I foolishly ignored this red flag and paid R3700 of the initiation fee with the promise that funds would be transferred immediately into my account. This never happened and all my follow up messages were ignored by the admin manager Zinhle. I tried to reverse my transaction at the bank and Capitec confirmed that the funds were already withdrawn from a suspicious "M Smith" personal account. I told the admin manager I would be reporting this to the regulator and the police and she told me to go ahead. I renounced my loan and asked only for a refund of the R3700 and they refused to process same. I have since reported this entity to 3 authorities and I am consulting with an attorney to pursue legal action. Do not fall prey to these ******* and ********* lenders
I am highly disappointed in the service I received from Absa and Absa Life. In 2023 my father took out a life and funeral policy with ABSA under the guidance of financial advisor Nishen Moodley. Beneficiaries nominated were captured as "2 daughters (50% each)". This was captured by ABSA in a typed out document. There was a clear intention to nominate beneficiaries. Upon my father's death, I as well as my sister (his 2 and only daughters) claimed on the respective policies. We received a call from ABSA Life that the claim would not be processed because no beneficiaries were captured on the system or nominated. Why would ABSA not think to look at the document and note that 2 beneficiaries were captured at 50% each. I'm also questioning the work of the financial advisor in not guiding the client to specify beneficiary details. He captured the "2 daughters" on the policy without the initiative to ask his client to alter what appears to be an incorrectly filled form. Our status as daughters has also been captured in the final will and testament signed by my dad and witnessed by Nishen Moodley and a Miss P Nxumalo. This is absolutely shoddy work. The family has incurred significant expenses contributing to the burial. Having to report the estate and get a Letter of Authority is cumbersome and sounds like a barrier to claim in this instance
Happy with the turnaround time. Matsobane was very helpful. Keep it up TT Connect!
Sweepsouth charged me for a booking I cancelled before 12pm a day prior to the scheduled date. When I tried to ask for a refund they said that they couldn't refund me as they had allocated the funds to my "SweepCreds". Book these ****mers at your own risk. I'd also like to report Zukiswa Mooi and her colleague Rose for their unprofessional and condescending management of my query
If there was a minus rating I would certainly use it to rate King Price. They are easily the worst insurer I've had the misfortune of dealing with. Explains why their rates are so low. Low premiums for subpar or non-existent customer service. They will happily deduct your premium and fail to deliver come claim time. I cancelled my car insurance with them last year and I intend to do the same with my cellphone insurance. Their call centre agents are also antagonising, zero professionalism and zero customer service. Goof ****ing riddance
If there was a way to rate a company 0 stars I would, particularly for this company. They sold me a plastic ‘screen protector’ for my Apple watch that according to the sales assistant was much better than one I could get at the iStore. It was the same price. No less than 2 hours after my purchase, the ‘quality’ screen protector developed horrible air bubbles. Their franchiser Ray has little regard for customers. I am chasing them for a refund and will never ever support their dodgy business again
