In 2024, I app**** for a police clearance certificate through PostNet Hillcrest. After receiving an SMS from SAPS indicating it was ready, I visited the branch multiple times and was repeatedly told it had not arrived. Based on this, I reapp**** and paid again in March 2025. To my shock, a new staff member later found the original document—expired—proving it had been there all along. When I asked for proof that I had been contacted to collect it, I was told no records were kept. This lack of communication and accountability has cost me both time and money. I had to take time off work and pay again for a document that was already available but mishandled by the branch. Unless PostNet can provide proof that they attempted to contact me, I believe I should not be held financially responsible for their error. Very disappointed with the service and lack of responsibility shown.
I would not recommend Momentum multiply at all. They upgraded their software in Nov last year and since then I have not been able to redeem my weekly or monthly rewards. I train 5 days a week and according to their app I am taking 0 steps per day where as according to my garmin I average 12000- 15000 steps on a day that I am not training. The idea behind paying the monthly subscription is to receive rewards for exercising and staying healthy however I have contacted them 17 times either telephonically, via email or on their what’s app chat and I am told that they are trying to resolve the problem. I find this unacceptable and would like to be refunded my monthly premiums and to cancel multiply or be paid what is due in my rewards.
I would like to warn the public about renting from Wiihire vehicle hire. I have had the unfortunate experience of using them twice when my car went in for repairs as they are linked to my insurance policy. I believe that they are running a **** with regards to putting petrol into their cars and charging their clients. On both occasions that I rented from them I filled up the car and returned it. The deposit that I put down for the fuel was only partially refunded as Melissa (from Wii hire) said that they had to fill the car up as it only had half a tank of fuel. I then asked for proof that that fuel had been put into the car that I rented as I returned it with a full tank. The proof that I requested was very simple as all I wanted was a petrol receipt indicating which petrol station the car had been filled up at with a date on it and the registration number of the car (which is normal practice in the car hire industry) Melissa (Wii hire) was not able to provide me with those details and sent me a receipt which had the name and date cut off and didn't have any identifying details regarding the car I rented. I subsequently phoned and spoke to Melissa who got incredibly upset with me and then agreed to refund me the total amount. I then asked for the same proof related to the other rental and they have once again sent me a receipt without a date or service station name and nothing related to the car I rented. I have been in communication with Wii hire however they refuse to send me the proof that I have requested and hence my feeling is that unless proof can be given they must be hiding something-like running a petrol **** which the clients are non the wiser about.
