CPA refund requested – no response from Nonic I bought a product from Nonic starter pack(Cape Town–based) and paid R1,395 via EFT. The item was defective I reported the defect within 7 days and formally requested a refund in terms of Sections 55 and 56 of the Consumer Protection Act. I have since been ignored, despite follow-up emails. No phone number or alternative contact method is provided. I am now escalating the matter via consumer authorities. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this to anyone
Good day I would like to report that I am absolutely disgusted by the poor service I received from Glass Fit South coast from DAPHNE NADASEN GLASFIT SOUTH COAST | ADMINISTRATION tel: 039 682 3151 cell: 083 768 0355 I registered a claim with our insurers to replace 2 sections of glass on our patio balustrade. Claim was registered on 15 March and Santam insurers appointed Glasfit south coast to do the work on 26 March. Today is 19 May, almost 2 months later, and still the work has not been done!! They were full of excuses right from the word go, the last being they waiting for the excess payment from the owner and that nothing will be done before they receive the excess payment on the claim. This came after the owner paid the full excess over to them directly 2 days before! Then on Monday 17 May after begging for feedback, I received an email to say excess was received and they will do the repairs on the next day, Tuesday. Today I asked for feedback and she responds that they will definitely be going to do the repair on Friday morning. I am furious!!! This is unacceptable. See correspondence attached. Please note that I will advise Santam to take Glasfit South Coast of the panel for Santam claims as I refuse to deal with this incompetent branch ever again. Please ensure that you take this matter up with the branch manager and with Daphne. Laetitia Joubert
Gearmax takes the cake for the poorest most pathetic service I have ever come across in my liftetime!!!! I am highly dissapointed by your standard of service and will tell all my friends to never ever make use of this company. In December of 2015 we took our Mazda Double Cab in for repairing the 5th gear on our 4 x 4 gearbox. They worked on the bakkie for almost a week. Prior to us taking the bakkie in we replaced the clutch and pressure plate as well as the thrust bearing. After getting our bakkie back and almost R9000 later we had to take the bakkie back the very next day as we were batteling to select gear. We were then informed by Willem who appears to be in charge of the Vereeniging office, that the clutch is new and therefore we need to keep driving it until the clutch is used a bit then we will be able to select gears better he adjusted the clutch up to the max! there is nothing else he can do. The bakkie also had a gearbox oil leak the very same day we got it back, which was fixed. we had the bakkie for december and drove from vereeniging to welkom for the holidays. There was a loud noise which sounded like a bearing singing and bakkie kept jumping out of the 5th gear. Othe
