UIF
My son Setu Nkombi was working as a contractor and he stopped in November. He's been waiting for his UI19 to claim his UIF, up until now. I spoke to the lady called Melanie at one of Cape Town offices with number 0215566510, in May, she keeps on promising with a different story all the time, up until now nothing. Just imagine someone sitting at home with no work thinking his UIF will help him but nothing. Hope this review will help Setu to get his dues, if not I will escalate further

Combined account
I had 3 different loan accounts with unifi, I settled one of them and when I ask for another settlement letter for 1 account they say they cant give me for 1 account, they combined all of them, which is lame excuse and I am not happy with their answer at all

Refund
IFA deducted money from my account that I never signed for and they dont want to return it, that is ***** and they are very bold to ttell me that I wont get it back. I met this guy at Khayelitsha mall, I listened to him telling me about this company, he asked for my name and surname and I said to him, "sorry i am not working", I left. 2 or 3 months after that they deducted R589 from my account which my mom was saving it. I called them several times and they told me that they wont be able to refund it.

My life is a living hell
I didnt even wanted to give them any star. I app**** for a debt consolidation with them in May 2021, I signed every document and it was a done deal. 6 or 7 days down the line I called my consultant and cancel, her name was Pamela and she didn't wanted to cancel giving me all the reasons, she called her superior after a while, he also told me so many reasons of not allowing me to cancel, eventually he said he will escalate for cancel and I was happy. Today I was opening an account, guess what, my name is flagged at all the bureaus by Debt Busters. I just want them to remove that flag asap because my life is on stand still.
