I settled Absa's loan account and after they debited amount R1771. I contacted them for refund, it has been back and forth saying they will contact after days. I did get an email confirming that they will refund but then whein I follow up today (03-02-2026) the response was "We refer to your complaint with reference number C-63919011. I am currently investigating your complaint and will contact you on or before the 2026/02/05 2:00 AM with further feedback" Isi this still supposed to be in investigation ??I just need my money, thats all.
I am disappointed by the DUT, I was owing the university and paid the outstanding balance in full and when I requested a finance clearance letter they don't respond and they the debtors department doesn't pick up calls at all. When I was requesting my balance they responded very swiftly but now I need the letter urgently they just keep on ignoring my calls and my emails
telkom always increase debit orders, they are *****ing from clients because they are not authorised to do so.
On Saturday at 00:03 midnight my card number was used to do transctions worth R1500 amount, I only got app message on my phone that says" transaction has been done from your account'. Tried to log in to my app to see the transactions and boom my app was not working, it just froze since that time. Sent an email because of my network I couldn't call, then tried to check using my internet banking but the transactions weren't appearing. I have then sent an email but Absa is not responding since Saturday and called yesterday again there is no response. All I said is I want my money because transactions are supposed to authorised by my myself on my app, and this was not the case. My question how did this go through? Please assist. My app was not working since then I deleted it today and downloaded again.
I took two contracts in December at telkom westwood, one was for R399 and one was for R299, they didnt send me an invoice and when they debited they debited R399*2 = R797, it was telkom westwood and when i call them they are not picking up and there is no response to my email, lady name was Sinenhlanhla. When i log into my account the two amounts they are charging is R399 which is not supposed to be the case i want this to be resolved.
Once again Absa took my cashsend, my husband sent me a cashsend and I didn’t get the 10 digits voucher and when trying to reverse it it says there is no amount. This is the second time now, they only sent me the stupid whatsapp message that doesn’t help me. They must sort this out urgently and tell us why only my number when it is from my husband does this?
Someone sent me cashsend but I didn’t receive an sms, instead I got a WhatsApp which I don’t know how it works. I then told a person to reverse and try another number or just do eft but only to find that there’s no money to withdraw and it has already debited, they kept on transferring me to so many numbers without help. I need my money
After a while two months claim Absa rejected my claim from Alexander Forbes, but this account is the account where salary I paid to every month. What is different now. I need this money urgently, this is very disappointing. Why are they rejecting my money. I
What do you have to do for Alexander Forbes to process your claim, this is frustrating and disappointing. why are holding on to people's monies and not communicate about the status of the application. The blocked all communication channels just to avoid these queries. I am not sure if it is level of incompetence or what?
