I purchased a Pure Pleasure king electric blanket from Game in August 2024 and when I arrived home I found it did not work. I immediately returned it to Game and received a replacement. In July this year the one control switch stopped working and soon the other one. Unfortunately I lost the slip and cannot claim a replacement again. I certainly will not replace it with another Pure Pleasure electric blanket as my problem seems to be a common cause of failure experienced by others as highlighted here.
After three orders the first arrived late resulting in a R20 credit, The second went to Port Elizabeth instead of George. The 3rd order again went to Port Elizabeth instead of George again resulting in a delay. Clearly Buffalo is not up to the task in getting items delivered in time and certainly do not know how to get parcels from ORT Airport to Knysna which should be basic knowledge of a courier company operating in South Africa
I transferred my property on the 31st July and am still awaiting my rates refund on an advance payment I had to make in order to secure a rates clearance certificate. No response to an email query sent. Does a world class city take 5 months (to date) to make a refund? It would help if they answer email queries as to when the refund will be made?
With reference to my previous complaint and the call with Robyn, it was agreed that (a) the debit order would be cancelled (b) she would forward banking details where I can pay my subs monthly. Item (b) has still not been received. Please forward as promised!
Once again I have been debited on my account for my February gym fee due 1st February on the 31st January. This bad practise was reported on previously and I was given the assurance that this would not happen again. Please refer S 40 (1) of the Consumer Protection Act (Unconscionable conduct). What you are practising is illegal!! Please debit my account in accordance with our contract (payment on the 1st of the month) otherwise my debit order will be withdrawn. This is now the third time that I have reported this (yet the practise continues) so as a result I impose a R1,000 fine on your account!<br> .
