Formal Complaint Regarding TymeBank Service – The Glen Mall Pick n Pay Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the service I received at the TymeBank kiosk at Pick n Pay Glen Mall. I visited the kiosk on multiple occasions to replace my expired TymeBank card. During these visits, the service I received from a staff member named Eirien was extremely poor. There was a clear lack of urgency, poor communication, and no effort to properly explain the issue or assist us in a way that a customer could understand. The overall attitude came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Eventually, the Pick n Pay store manager kindly offered to fetch my mother and me so that he could personally assist us in resolving the matter, which he did. While I appreciate the manager’s intervention, it was disappointing that the situation had to escalate to that level before we received proper assistance. Throughout the interaction, the staff member showed no remorse and did not offer an apology. The experience made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her, rather than being assisted as customers. I believe customer service roles require professionalism, clear communication, and respect. This experience fell far below that standard. I trust that this complaint will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately, as there are many capable and willing individuals who would value such an opportunity and serve customers with care and respect. I am dissatisfied about the level of customer service Pick n Pay THE GLEN MALL renders to us consumers. Today is my 3rd day visiting the store without assistance, I've been using my expenses to travel to the store basically for nothing. My first visit to the store on the last week of January 2026 I came here to make a new tymebank card since the one I've been using has expired, I get there, there's no one on the tymebank working station. I ask where the person is I was told to go ask in the office, I get to the office I was told to page the person that works at the tymebank station LOL. I waited with no assistance. I went to the store again on the 3rd of February 2026 same horrible service no assistance transport money yet wasted again only because I want to get a new tymebank card, I was told the machine is not working I went home gave them a day I'm at the store again 5 February 2026 no assistance whatsoever the machine is not working we told to come back after 2 hours Instore you ask the stuff about the products Instore no one knows anything Pick n pay stuff, fnb/pick n pay stuff, literally everyone in store what kind of service is this honestly??? The store doesn't even deserve the one star rating. Service is slow you'd swear the shop is full every one is dragging their feet, they have no sense of emergency, no information regarding instore products it's as if you forcing them to assist you or you owe them something
I am totally upset about the service I'm getting from Mc D columbine suideroord this is absolutely not the first time, you order your food and you get it hours later! I don't know why the shop keeps accepting more orders if they really busy. By the time you get your food you already over it and even the quality is not worth waiting 3hours for a mere meal. The service is absolutely horrible and upsetting I thought maybe this time around my experience will be different but hey it's unacceptable I don't even want to purchase anything from Mc D in future because of the horrible service!
My experience with supersonic Fibre has been horrible. Sim card stopped working but continued paying my monthly fee to them, requested for the service to be cancelled since I'm not able to use it I'm simply paying for nothing! I've logged queries on their app and sent emails since July with no assistance but they able to send me emails of amounts I need to settle. Early this month I got an email from their lawyers with a letter of demand stating I need to pay certain amount, ended paying that amount for the service I didn't even use and have been requesting for it to be cancelled. Now that I settled that amount I get an email today they billing me for Jan 2025 I am extremely not happy with the service and wouldn't recommend it, they don't even deserve that 1 star rating
I just received my order and one item is missing (No name Vanilla ice cream) , after waiting for that order, this is totally unacceptable. It's my second time ordering at Pick n Pay MALL OF THE SOUTH and the experience is still the same, first order I had to wait for an hour for it to be delivered, it's funny because you'd think since you are 5 minutes away from the mall it won't take time... I will definitely not order from Pick n pay mall of the south again! I want the item that's missing because I didn't just pay for nothing. They don't even deserve the one star rating! Service is horrible
