Jessica was very patient and helped me to restore my inverter connectivity when we had a technical issue. Overall the solar panels are performing well and cannot be faulted.
First of all I want to commend Nadia Heyns for always being just a message away. Once I enquired getting my credit rated was done quickly, and hsving my premises and roof structure checkrd as well. Installation took a day and all was done neat and tidy. The system was working from day one. On the aftercare side some improvements must be made. Getting a link and getting hooked up onto the app can be gone much more efficiently. It was sorted out eventually, but not until some serious calls had been made. I recommended my system to a friend , who signed up immediately, and in return I received R1000, another air fryer and two extra panels, pronto. The only sad bit is again that the aftercare service is lagging, they do not have their app link yet and feedback from customer afterservice is poor. So salespeople and installers wonderful, but the customer care could be better.
A few years ago I bought a Taroma Liectrox C30B robot vacuum cleaner. I was happy with it, even though the App is useless. It started giving problems with the wifi, Afrishop repared it because it was still under warranty. It came back repaired. Last year it started running for about a minute before cutting out. With some difficulty I got a reaction from Afrishop and finally sent it in to be repaired on 6 October 2024. Then nothing. Query after query I was told they were waiting for parts. More queries re status, nothing. Then a more firm requesf for feedback. Today, 14 January 2025, it was returned but I doubt the box was even opened, it had my old waybill on, and on trying the robot it still cuts out after about 60 seconds. AFRISHOP used to give excellent service, but I am afraid it has gone the way of most South African suppliers and should be avoided. Very poor show!
I as very happy with the helpful advice and personal service received from Nadia H. I am still awaiting some tweaks to the system, but hopefully that will also arrive soon. The team seemed very knowledgeable and the system started working immediately. So far so good The App seems to be very clumsy and not working properly - it should probably go back to it's maker to decide what it's function is to be before it is released to the public. Still awaiting some geyser remotes.
Thembakaxi Mbalane was very helpful. I will write a more comprehensive report once I have had cause to use it. Sofar it looks promising.
Buying at KFC Meerensee Richards Bay KZN we uncovered what appears to be fraud. We ordered a bucket of chicken pieces and two large packets fries. Price came to R170, but on later inspection we saw that the till slip only reflected R137, two items. Should have been four items, but the chips, that we paid for, didn't reflect on the slip. On querying this they said they had made a mistake with the previous client and rectified that on our till slip. (Right, now pull the other one!) We tried to make KFC aware of this, but they are not interested. the manager came up with the rectify story, customer care shrugged it off, head-office in Durban gave me the number for the regional manager, but that number appears to be out of action.
Trying to update my account details. There is no reponse from the call centre. I have no time for this type of non-service, especially since it doesn't come cheap. Will advertise this all over social media.
