ESKOM customer support is utter *******! Calling 08600 37566 I was put on hold for 1hour 15min in the queue which moved from Caller #9 to #5 in that time... Do you have one person handling all the calls for South Africa??? https://alfred.eskom.co.za/chatroom/ is USELESS too as it's just a chatbot which cannot help with anything outside of standard queries. I have emailed EscalationsWC@eskom.co.za and now sitting here I'm waiting on feedback on an URGENT matter.
Table View Post Office has been closed with 4 of my parcels stuck inside. I have tried contacting them with no luck. Some sources stated that apparently the branch is closed due to unpaid rent. Please hele me get my parcels.
My fridge died 2 days ago. I called Discovery, waiting on average 8min to speak to someone and then got cut off during the chat with the consultant as my airtime ran out. I waited to for a call back but they did not bother to call back so I logged the claim online. I called them the following day to follow up and they said they would assign someone to come out and do an inspection/assessment on the fridge. I didn't get a call from anyone regarding this and called again today to see what is going on, wasting more of my airtime. I was told that they will call the company who does the inspections/assessments and they did as I got a call from Chatatech Jhb almost immediately who said they they have 1 person in Cape Town to assist with this and that he can only come tomorrow. My fridge is not cooling at all and all my food is spoiled. If this is how all claiming is handled through a big/respectable company such as Discovery, I should be looking for a new insurer as their service is mediocre.
<p>I have been a client of JustHost for some time and when my website got infected by malware my site was taken down. I logged a ticket and tried numerous times to get online support via chat. Eash time I would have to wait for up 30min for someone to tell me they cannot help me and put me through to another department where I would not get a reply. They wanted to charge me $250 to fix the malware problem. I deleted the affected files by myself and asked them to enable my account but then they told me the server had a problem and they would let me know when they fixed it so. All I want to do now just get off their servers butneed my email to work which still is a problem. I have not idea how a company like this can be so shocking at providing support. </p>
I decided mid last month to downgrade my 10mbs capped package to a 4mbs uncapped package so made a call and the change was done. I was told the line would take a couple of days to change over as that was on Telkoms side.<br> <br> It got to the end of the month and I got a bill that was R200 more then I expected so I called and apparently the person who did the change did not change the line and did not package the deal. 2 days later my line was downgrade but to a 2mbs and NOT a 4mbs even though I was extra clear about that. <br> <br> Working from home has been a nightmare with a slow line and nobody seems to care on Afrihost's side. I updated the support ticket over the weekend with Babini.N and got a response from a different person (Neo.Mothibe) over a day later with something about a an order for a 10mbs line which means he has no clue what is going on. <br> <br> I eventually called today and apparently my line is going to be changed over to 4mbs in 48h. <br> <br> I hope the billing is not going to be a problem as I'm sick of this BS.
