I took my Opel's head to be rebuilt at a reputable engineering company, They basically took the aluminum head and replaced all the inner parts. These inner parts where supplied by Alert Spares in Pretoria. After having the head assembled and prepared by the engineer I fitted the head to the car NEW oil filter NEW Shell Rimula oil. Before I closed the tappet cover I filled the engine with oil by poring the oil over the cam. The cam was also packed with cam grease by the engineer. After a couple of turns the motor started with a hell of a noise from the cylinder head. It ran for less than 2 min. (I hadn't even filled the water bottle) After consulting the engineer I removed the tappet cover to see if the cam is getting oil. It was so much so that it spilled out of the cam box. Then I SAW that one of the lobes on the cam was damaged. The engineer called Sabastian at Alert and asked them to come and see what had happened. They drew the dipstick and smelt a slight sent of petrol. They said the "Petrol" in the oil has thinned the oil and that caused to ONE lobe to get damage. They refuse to replace the cam. They still made a JOKE and said they will arrange for a R2-00 discount on the new purchase of a cam! I feel this is TOTAL unacceptable. Anyone with a little commonsense will know that this could NOT be the cause of the cam being damaged! The cost of this repair is close to R1500-00 I feel they need to replace all parts necessary to complete the project including oil and oil filter!
I went to Builders Warehouse at "Atterbury Value Mart" Faerie Glen, Pretoria. I went to the “Keys” department and asked the consultant for 2 X 4 button Nova remotes. I saw the price on the shelf where the remotes lie was R265-00. When I paid at the cashier I was billed R300-00 each. The cashier when with me back to the department and assessed the matter. Then she VERY arrogantly told me the price on the shelf and the remotes barcode do not correspond. I said to her that’s fine but the price is R265-00. Then she said No it’s R300-00. I said to her according to the department of trade & industry, the price on the shelf p-laced by the items is the price… She was non-cooperative and I decided to rather place the complaint here. I have taken photos of the shelf with the items…
And it has been another week and telkom has still not come out to instal the line. They better at least give me a credit
On the 25th Feb we requested to have a line transferred as we were moving on the first. Firstly they didnt lodge it on the day and lodged i the following week. They then said is would take 7 to 14 working days which I dont have a problem with. On the 14th a technician came out to instal the line. He said there was a problem with the line from the box to the pole which another technician would have to sort out. He promised me my line would be connected by fri the 18th. Nothing happened. Then I got an sms someone would come out on the 23rd for an all day appointment to instal the line. We waited all day and no one pitched. Now I phoned them and they said the guy was too busy to come out he can only come again on the 4th. I have now waited a whole month for installation on an account that I am paying for. and it is costing me as I have to use my data now and not my wireless at home. I find this completely unacceptable

So I get a call from Mr Rudi-Jo Le Roux, explaining that I signed a reactivation document where I allegedly gave consent to forfeit the accumulated minutes & data for the past 3 months on my 4 contracts.<br> <br> Who in their right mind would do such a thing?<br> <br> Turns-out it was a reactivation \Contract"and the consultant Sharon Zitha at customer care Vodacom Menlyn neglected to explain to me that the document was a contract and I should take time reading the fine print before signing. it looked like a 10th generation document that was copied 100 times over...
