I have been a client since 1994, with a clean credit record. I was surprised to get a message from Edgars informing me of my account being in arrears. According to me it was up to date. Upon investigating I discovered a debit from a company Blue label on my account. I asked Edgars what it was and they said it was a service I authorised and I need to query with Blue Lable Telecom directly. Blue label cannot give me proof of my enrolment with them. The reason I am placing this review for Edgards is that they seem to accept instructions from 3d parties for debits on clients accounts without verification and without confirming it with me. That is irregular. My agreement is with Edgars not Blue Label, and 1) they get me to call Blue Label, I think they should have been doing it and 2) they also can't give me proof of how they accept instructions from Blue Label. Further Edgars have now placed an entry onto my credit score of non payment. This needs to be reversed asap, as I would not have been in arrears if they have not app**** unauthorised debits on my account.
I noticed debits taken of my account for which I have not app**** or signed up. Edgars said I need to call Blue Label. I called blue label and asked them to stop debits immediately. I asked them to provide me proof of me signing up for the service. I was informed that it takes 30 days to get proof of enrolment. After 30 days they still have not contacted me, and I called back. They informed me they are still looking for it. They will not find anything as I never signed up for it. At this stage I consider this *****.
