I previously had a very poor experience with Go Connect and was extremely disappointed with both the customer service and internet reliability. However, I’m happy to say that things have completely turned around — all thanks to Don Read. Don went above and beyond to resolve the ongoing issues I was facing, showing genuine care, professionalism, and determination to make things right. Under his leadership, I truly believe Go Connect is in good hands and headed in the right direction. I also want to give a special shout-out to Clovis, who has consistently been helpful no matter the size of the issue. He’s a true champion and a credit to the team. Thanks to these two individuals, my trust in Go Connect has been restored. If they continue on this path, I’d be more than happy to recommend their services.
I visited PG Glass in Boksburg on 03/12/2024 to get a cracked window fixed, and I deeply regret it. From the moment I stepped into the store, I was met with poor service and unhelpful staff who seemed completely uninterested in assisting me. The lack of urgency was astonishing – it felt like I was at Home Affairs, where nothing ever gets done. After finally getting some attention, I was told that I would be contacted once the insurance authorization came through and the window was delivered. Fast forward to January 2025, and I get a call from a woman asking if I still wanted the window fixed. Confused, I asked if the insurance had been approved and if the window had arrived, to which she shockingly rep**** that nothing had been done. She just wanted to know if I still wanted to go ahead with the process, as if they hadn’t even started it yet. Now, it’s 26 February 2025, and my window is still cracked. I’ve heard nothing from PG Glass. No updates, no follow-up, no apologies – just complete silence. This level of incompetence is unbelievable, and it’s clear PG Glass Boksburg doesn’t value its customers at all. Their customer service is non-existent, and their professionalism is downright appalling. I strongly advise anyone considering PG Glass Boksburg to look elsewhere. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and complete disregard for your time is unforgivable. Absolutely pathetic service from start to finish.
I am extremely disappointed with Go Connect's service and would give them zero stars if I could. Their customer service is atrocious; every time I called, I was met with long wait times, unhelpful representatives, and a complete lack of resolution to my issues. On top of that, the internet connection speeds are abysmal. I consistently experienced slow, unreliable connections that made it impossible to stream, work, or even browse the web properly. I do not recommend Go Connect to anyone looking for a reliable internet service provider. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
I had an absolutely shocking experience at Tiger Wheel & Tire Menlyn today. I arrived at 13:00 to replace a wheel with a literal hole in it. Before proceeding, I specifically asked the salesman how long it would take, as I had a 15:00 appointment. He assured me it would take 45 minutes to an hour, so I agreed. However, as I watched the technicians, they seemed in no rush—walking around, chatting, and wasting time instead of working. By 14:00, nothing had been done. When I asked for an update, the salesman told me he had asked them to finish up. Eventually, at 14:45, I received my keys, trusting the job had been done properly. Because of their delays and lack of urgency, I arrived at my client’s location at 16:00, an hour late! After finishing my appointment, I went to my car's boot and noticed my wheel was still flat. Upon closer inspection, I realized they never changed the damaged wheel! Instead, they replaced the two front tires with two new front tires, which makes absolutely no sense. How does a technician not check all the tires when doing balancing and alignment? This is a clear sign of incompetence, carelessness, and a complete lack of customer service. I immediately called Tiger Wheel & Tire Menlyn to resolve the issue. The salesman suggested I go to the Boksburg branch and assured me they would wait for me, even though they closed at 17:00. Despite still being with my client, I rushed over. Upon arriving at Boksburg Tiger Wheel & Tire, I spoke to a so-called "manager" who claimed he was unaware of any arrangement and said he couldn’t help because the technicians had left. While standing there, I watched at least five or six technicians walk out. You’re telling me that not a single person could have helped? Or that the "manager" himself couldn't assist? Absolutely pathetic! To make matters worse, when I asked why they didn’t wait for me, as promised, the manager shrugged it off, saying, "They weren’t specific about the time." I arrived at 17:05—just FIVE minutes late! The fact that two separate branches had the same level of awful service, dishonesty, and zero accountability makes me believe this is a company-wide issue, not just a branch problem. I will never use Tiger Wheel & Tire again—anywhere in the country. I will also be sharing my experience on all social media platforms to warn others. PATHETIC service!
