Botriver Hotel
An unlikely looking place, but for a Sunday lunch it was great. The stoep is wide and cool, the food was excellent. Pizzas absolutely super!

Outstanding service from Budget Auto Glass, Strand
After trying unsuccessfully to get a quote from PG Glass. I contacted Hannes Louw at Budget Auto Glass in Strand about replacing the windscreen of my Subaru Forester. The job was done the next day in exactly 2 hours at an excellent price! Service was super friendly and efficient. I have no reservations in recommending this business.

Leroy Merlin service
I have had two successful purchases through Leroy Merlin, but in December 2024 I ordered a standing fan. I was informed that it would be delivered on the 29th. It was eventually delivered on the 10th of January, without any delivery note or even a box. The fan was so tightly wrapped in plastic cling wrap that the larger parts like the base and grid were bent and unusable. I phoned to request that it be picked up and returned. After 2 calls my phone was blocked. I have tried email. after a number of tries got a message "pickup booked." That was a week ago. Tried to phone again and phone is blocked!
