I have been a loyal Outsurance client for 24 years, with all my insurance policies under them. In December 2024, I added accident cover for my dog. I’ve just received my updated premium for 2026, and it reflects a shocking 55% increase for my pet insurance - while inflation is only 3.5%! During 2025, I submitted just one claim for R900. I contacted Outsurance to request a reasonable adjustment, but they refused to budge. After decades of loyalty, this kind of increase is completely unacceptable. I have now cancelled my insurance. A 55% increase is not justifiable. Loyalty should mean something.
Once again, Fastway has been like a politician... full of promises (of my delivery being on the truck out for delivery) and never fulfilling those promises (constantly being sent back to North Bay to go out the next day again). I have been at home with a huge note on my gate saying that I am home and they should call me when they arrive, but nothing. I wish we could choose the courier service we would like to make use of when ordering from Temu. Buffalo Couriers seem to get it perfect, but Fastway is useless. Do they care? No. We sit and wait
I have been waiting for a delivery since 5 August. It has been on 'the next scheduled delivery', it is 11 August and I am still waiting. Shocking service. This would not happen with The Courier Guy
I've been with Outsurance for 22 years and I have never faulted their service. I have recently added pet insurance to my portfolio. The pet team are amazing. They know they are dealing with emotions and they really care. The lady who I initially took my policy out with in Jan 25 was amazing. Today I dealt with Simon and he was also just brilliant. Thanks Outsurance. You got it going on.
Rent A Roof West placed a tenant, who paid them one month's rent and the deposit on 22 January 2025. Rent A Roof West is due to pay the deposit over to me and keep the one month's rent as a placement fee. I have been trying to get a response from Marcus ever since to find out when payment will take place. He never gives me a solid answer. "It should be..", "as far as I am concerned...", "I will check and get back to you...". It is 5 February 2025 today and I am still waiting on a solid response. It is most frustrating to get these non-committal answers. I need to invest the deposit for the tenant but I feel like I am in the process of being ****med.
