I purchased two tickets through Viagogo for the Stormers Rugby match on, 17 January, 2026. Besides the highly inflated price of the tickets, it was quite a mission to actually get them downloaded. One has to first download the Stormers App and then follow a couple of steps to obtain the tickets. I checked that the tickets were still visible on my App, on the morning of the game. Following a long drive to the stadium, we got to the entrance about 7 minutes before kick off. To my horror and disappointment, I noticed that the VIAGOGO tickets were suddenly no longer on the App. I reported this to a ticketing supervisor, who advised me that they've had this problem before with the same merchant. He advised me that they sell the exact same seats to a few clients, a couple of times over. The first to arrive then gain entry, but when those tickets are scanned, all other tickets on the App with those seat numbers will be automatically withdrawn. Following the realization that we had just been ****med, I ran to the ticket office at the stadium to purchase another two tickets. As a matter of interest, they much cheaper at the stadium. I contacted Viagogo the following week to claim a refund, but they refused, advising that they would only consider a refund, if it was reported before the Game. This was obviously not possible, as I only realized we'd been ****med, 5 minutes before kickoff. The Company will regain some credibility if they honour my refund request. At this point, they sit with my funds, knowing that nothing was provided in return. Shocking ethics.
The complaint is against a Technician, who claims to work for Rapid Appliances. His name is MOANYA., with cell number: 0744466682. He was assigned to repair our fridge. He claimed that it required a new compressor. He gave me the impression that he had done the job, but actually gave it to another technician. Needless to say, the fridge worked for a day, or two and then packed up. I reported the problem to Moanya, but he hasn't followed up and no longer takes my calls. It's best to avoid him completely for any appliance repairs.
We had Louis Fourie rubberize/ waterproof our whole roof last year, at a hefty price. He provided good specs and promised to immediately follow up, any problems. Subsequent to this, there have been three leaks. He returned once, but didn't solve the problem. Following this, he's ignored my messages and refused to take my calls. I've now had to employ another professional to do his job, at our cost. He also has our house displayed on his website as a supposed success story. He needs to remove it immediately, unless he returns to redo the job successfully.
I first reported my problem with Cell C about 3 weeks ago. They received a large payment from me for data, but nothing was received and a month later, no refund has been activated. In the interim, I've been wasting plenty of time communicating with them and running around for my bank statements. A supervisor advised that she would send her personal email address, to resolve the matter, but nothing was received. I subsequently asked a colleague to send her email address, which she efficiently did, but spelt it incorrectly. This again wasted time, determining her correct address. Surely, an accountant at Cell C can trace payments made from my bank on the day my bank confirmed the transfer. If not, one must surely question the financial workings of the Company.
Cell C has unfortunately become another large Corporate company, with a totally *********** technical division. As we were going to be away, I purchased R899 worth of their data, over 2 weeks ago, through their official website. The data was not loaded, so I enquired through their customer care section. My bank statement, clearly stated that the funds were paid into the Cell C account, but they couldn't trace them. Following 3 emails and 3 lengthy conversations with their consultants, nothing has been resolved. The only useful bit of information received was that I was to pass on their special email address to my bank, to start the process of a refund. In other words no data service was provided, as initially paid for, but I had to waste further time obtaining, signing and returning a credit card refund form to my bank. To date, I've still not received any data, nor refund from Cell C. I even visited one of their Cell C branches, where they asked me to provide my bank statement with PoP, which I did. This in turn was sent to their HO. However, I've just received another call from them requesting I send further PoP. Over R500 of Vodacom data was purchased whilst we were away, to keep going. This was purchased at a much higher rate, as much data was required to continue business, over the short time period away. We would like to be compensated for this. I have literally wasted many hours chasing up this matter, with still no result. My advice to anyone wanting to purchase data, or air time through their website, using a credit card, think very carefully before doing so. The chances of your funds getting lost in their system are very good.
The FLEXICARE section of your Healthcare portfolio leaves much to be desired. I currently have three claims lodged with them, still awaiting settlement. They advised me that my claim with a Radiologist was not referred to by one of their Network doctors. The referral doctor was however a Network doctor, whom we had previously consulted with, but had subsequently been removed from their Network. I was not advised of the change of status, so proceeded to consult with him for a referral. They are now wanting to wash their hands of this claim, which is not ethical business practice. as I should have been advised by both the doctor and Flexicare. Further, my wife and I were referred to separate specialists, by another Network doctor. They however advised me that they have not received these claims, which results in further time wasted to trace and submit the claims again. When a claim is submitted they also ask for obvious information which is stated on the Invoice, such as the patients name, DOB, the practice name, date of service etc. This again is a time wasting exercise, as the information is clearly provided on the statement.
