I have been trying for 14 months to get Vodacom Business to reflect my business VAT number on all Tax Invoices. I have sent them my VAT Registration on 10 occasions and have been assured that the VAT number has been updated on my account, and every Tax Invoice for 14 months still fails to reflect the VAT number. I have also tried to get my address to reflect correctly and have sent Vodacom proof of address, but for 14 months, the address has been incorrect. Poor show. Vodacom, your administration leaves a lot to be desired, as do your false promises and assurances.
I bought two shelves and was issued an order number #200255537 to make a payment. The details provided at the point of purchase included my VAT Number, Business name, and address. Now that I am requesting a Tax Invoice but Decofurn is requesting my VAT registration certificate. The details provided at the time of order included my VAT number. Decofurn accepted my payment for the order and did not question the legitimacy of my VAT Number. Decofurn delivered the product and still did not question the legitimacy of my VAT number. Decofurn did not provide a legitimate Tax Invoice at the point of sale. When asked for a Tax Invoice, Decofurn provided one that did not reflect my VAT number even though I had provided my VAT Number when the order was placed. Decofurn are refusing to issue a Tax Invoice unless I prove my VAT number. They have gone down the road of implying I am dishonest, to which I take absolute offence. I have a VAT Certificate issued by SARS, along with the SARS electronic certification, as proof that I am not dishonest, as they have imp****. Please do not purchase from this organisation as they treat their clients as second-rate dishonest citizens.
In spite of my attempt since November 2024 to have my VAT number 4160204881 reflect on my monthly invoice as required by the VAT Act, it still does not appear on my monthly TAX INVOICES. I have been reassured month after month that the problem has been fixed, and it still persists. Somehow, I am under the impression that Vodacom is in contravention of the VAT Act.
VODACOM ARE *******. I WAS PROMISED A REFUND OF R126.47 IN SEPTEMBER ON A FINAL LETTER OF DEMAND DRAFT SUMMONS THAT I PAID, WHICH VODACOM ADMITTED WAS A COMPUTER ERROR AND THE FINAL LETTER OF DEMAND SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SENT OUT. THEY PROMISED ME THE REFUND WITHIN 48 HOURS, AND TODAY, THE 27 OCTOBER 2025, IT IS STILL NOT REFUNDED. I CAN ONLY ASSUME THAT VODACOM IS FINANCIALLY DESPERATE TO BE HANGING ON TO MY R126.47. I HAVE A VODACOM STATEMENT REFLECTING THE R126.47 CREDIT. THE OTHER CONCLUSION IS THAT THEY ARE ******* AND ***** FROM THE PUBLIC- PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SERVICES OF VODACOM

I have been contacting Voodacom every month since November 2024 to request an email of my monthly Statement, Invoice and Itemised Billing, and every month I am told that the system has been corrected and I will receive the Statement, Invoice and Itemised Billing. Again, in September 2025, I have not received the email of the Statement, Invoice and Itemised Billing and will need to contact Vodacom again. What is sad is customers pay for the itemised billing and do not even receive what they are paying for. Vodacom is a very unprofessional business that is incapable of getting any administration correct and leaves me wondering what else they are incapable of.
I was today contacted by Thembeka Damba of Vodacom re a Final Letter of Demand 'Draft Summon' that I received on the 25 August 2025. After numerious emails requesting the details of the amount of R126.47 being ignored by Vodacom I paid the amount on the 29 August 2025. I was told that the Final letter of Demand 'Draft Summon was a systems error and that they will refund me the R126.27 after 7 working days. I requested to speak to the office of the Managing Directors Office and was refused to be put through and refused the telelphone number of the Manging Director Office of Vodacom. I later received a call from Nomfundo Gavee who was supposably a Manager and she told me she did not have the telephone number of the office of the Managing Director of Vodacom and could not transfer me to the office of the Managing Director. I was wondering: 1. Does the Office of the Managing Director of Vodacom hide behind the staff. 2. Does the Office of the Managing Director of Vodacom know that system error are sending out threating Letters of Final Demand with the words Draft Summons in red across the page. 3. How many other clients of Vodacom have received a similar Letter of Final Demand in error and have paid the amount on the letter and Vodacom are not refunding them. Is this not hireway *******
In November 2024, I changed from a business account to a private account. In December 2024, I settled the business account in full. None of my details have changed, and Vodacom has had contact with me for over 20 Years. On 25 August 2025, I received a Final Letter of Demand on the business account number with Draft Summons across the letter for R126,47. The letter contains threats of how they will hand me over to debt collectors. I have since December, not received an invoice, statement or any other correspondence re this R126.47. But have received invoices and statements on the new account. I have emailed numerous email addresses at Vodacom, including the email address of the CEO of Vodacom, 5 times with no reply. I paid R126.47 on 29 August 2025. I have today, the 5 September 2025, received a Statement for the business account reflecting a credit of R126.47. I have been threatened with a letter demanding R126.47 that I did not owe in the first place. Today, I phoned Vodacom, and they apologised for the misunderstanding. The service I receive from Vodacom is disgusting and unprofessional, and demands monies that are not entitled to. How long will it take for me to get my money back. Vodacom cannot be allowed to treat long term loyal clients as second rate citizens.
I have tried to get monthly tax invoice, statements and Itemised Billing email to me as I have been getting for years. I upgraded the contract in October 2024, and since then, the monthly email has not been forthcoming in spite of emails and calls to Vodacom every month now for 8 months, and every month I am promised that the system has been updated and I will receive it in the next month. This organisation is unprofessional and disgusting, and I do not recommend Vodacom. Please use the competition, MTN.
For the month of March 2025, I have been trying to sort out a renewal card and then a replacement card with no luck. I have been a loyal client of American Express Platinum Card for 36 years. I have experienced lies, deceit, disrespect from uninformed staff and management. The service is disgusting and I have now had to reach for senior management to attempt to resolve my requests.
