After a few weeks of constant stories, no customer service, and the reluctancy of both Hirsch and AEG to honour warranty and guarantee on a brand new AEG stove/oven we purchased through Hirsch Hillcrest (which is still under warranty). Constant run around and passing the buck by AEG and Hirsch Hillcrest, who do not answer or return calls.<br> <br> Based on comments and responses on my social Medias, I have heard these delaying tactics are standard practice and a way to dishonour warranty etc., save money and secure the sales commission.<br> <br> I am absolutely shocked and disgusted by this so called service. It is clear both Hirsch and AEG do not know the meaning of integrity, honesty, warranty, guarantee, and customer services. Seems like the norm in south africa, everyone is in it for a \quick buck".....<br> """

The AEG hob and AEG oven we purchased ( CJK CLARK ) in July , the hob keeps switching off for no rhyme or reason , ( the AEG oven is ok ) they , Hirsch have been twice and still not fixed , the initial complaint submitted in September , but not rectified and they wish to repair . They do not recognize the initial complaint and have started a new file . They are allegedly not happy with the initial report by the Hirsh technician , Mohammed (sp) ,he was to respond with solutions .<br> <br> We have advised them ( Hirsch of the fault with the AEG hob ) that if they need to repair the AEG hob they need to give us a replacement unit or replace the entire AEG Hob unit . The branch in HILLCREST is being rather ambiguous and unhelpful in the action . I gave them my e mail address to contact me with an update, which he they have failed to do so ( a couple of missed calls to my mobile to which In have not replied ), the initial sales assistant was Mr. Rodger.....who is now mute. The complaint about the faulty AEG Hob was initially made by me to the store operations manager..., the present store manager interfacing is said to be verging on the evasive. (Email only)

Hello Peter,<br> <br> I would like to thank the staff at Hillcrest FNB, for processing the down grade of my bank account and issue of a new bank card so quickly. I would also like to thank Ren for keeping me up to date through the process. I thought it would have taken a lot longer with a lot more hassle - I was fortunately wrong :)<br> <br> The reason for down grading my bank account was because it will suit my needs for now.<br> <br> I must also compliment the security guards / officers at the entrance of FNB for also always been friendly and welcoming.<br>
