I was keen to start reducing my debt. Every month I receive a monthly statement from the company Hyphen on behalf of Debt Busters. According to my statement, I saved extra money, for repayments. I logged into the Debt Busters website. Signed into my profile and noticed the amounts on the site is between R1000 - R5000 higher on the site. I have lost my trust in this company. I requested a settlement amount for the smallest debt. I was phoned by an adviser, informing me I have to pay the full amount into a Debt Busters trust account. then the company will settle the debt with the company after receiving the full payment a Settlement amount will be requested. I told the adviser what my concerns was and he gave me an explanation that the statement I receive is an estimate. How can a company send you a monthly statement and not provide the correct, accurate information? When the adviser got annoyed with me for explaining to him what my concerns was, he put the phone down in my ear.

My phone screen broke in April and I took it into Vodacom for repair as it was insured by Vodacom. The Vodacom Repair Centre gave me a quote and even though I have been paying the insurance every month, I still had to pay in an amount. It took quite a while and I contacted them via email as they did not answer there phones. They informed me they had to replace 4 parts. I dont know what parts. According to me it was only a broken LED screen. And it took long because they were waiting for 3 of the 4 parts. Eventually the phone was done and Vodacom contacted me to come collect it. On receiving the phone, the screen looked great. It was fixed and I took it home. I connected it to the charger as it did not want to switch on in the Vodacom shop. I just figured the battery was flat. The phone did not want to charge and only flashed a startup phone symbol and then switched off. And that was all the phone wanted to do continuously till the battery died again. So I took it back to have them fix what they have broken now because before the screen broke the first time, I was using the phone and there was no problems. even with the cracked screen it still worked. I took it back to the Vodacom shop. They checked it and found the same problem and booked it in for a return repair. So Vodacom sent it back to the repair center. This time it was quick and the phone was back at the Vodacom shop. I collected it again. Took it home and placed it on charge. Still the same problem. They did not fix it at all. So I took it back to the Vodacom shop again. They checked it and found the same problem and booked it in for a return repair again. So Vodacom sent it back to the repair center again. Did the technicians break my phone removing the screen to replace and therefore there was 4 parts to replace? Did they damage my phone internally and hid the fact that the did? It is now almost 2 month and I have no working phone.
