Even one look at the meat sold at the branch located at the corner of Witkoppen and Riverbend Road, Bloubosrand, Northriding, Johannesburg, 2162 is enough to see how unacceptable it is. The meat is clearly off and unfit for consumption. I purchased wors, mince and other meat products and every single one of them was of terrible quality. This is beyond disappointing — it’s outright unacceptable. Selling meat in this condition to customers is irresponsible and shows a complete lack of standards. Even the so-called traditional wors is terrible, and calling it ‘nonsense’ would actually be an understatement. The meat is simply *******. If this is the level of quality being sold to the public, then the branch seriously needs to reconsider whether it should even be operating, because no business should be selling meat in such a poor and questionable condition to people. Absolute nonsense I tell you 🚮
I am extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received from Absa. I have contacted their call centre three times requesting the suspension of two debit orders on my account, yet the debit orders are still scheduled to go off on the 20th. What’s even more concerning is that the Absa agents I spoke to could not provide any call recordings or written confirmation that my request to suspend the debit orders was ever actioned. This lack of accountability is unacceptable. Suspending a debit order should be a simple banking process, but Absa has made it unnecessarily difficult and stressful. I expect this issue to be resolved urgently and proper confirmation to be provided.
I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the 24 dunked wings I received from KFC Douglasdale. This was a complete waste of money. The wings tasted as though no flavour or spices were added at all, and they were undercooked—there was even a raw smell. To make matters worse, some of the wings still had feathers on them, which is completely unacceptable. I have always been a loyal customer of KFC’s 24 dunked wings, but this order has truly let me down. On top of the poor food quality, we waited over 40 minutes on the side of the road for our drive-through order. This experience was a total showstopper and has cost KFC my loyalty on this occasion.
Once again, I rest my case — never borrow money from Atlas or use them in times of need. After losing my job, I fell behind for about 3–4 months, but I later settled the account in full. Yet, my credit report still lists Atlas under ‘adverse’. I have contacted TransUnion and Experian multiple times and received no assistance. I’ve logged several disputes, but my record still hasn’t been cleared.
This is by far the worst company to borrow money from. I took a loan with them, but after losing my job, I was unable to make payments for a few months. Three months later, I settled the full amount, yet they still haven’t updated my credit bureau status. I’ve sent them the paid-up letter and multiple follow-up emails, but I haven’t received any positive feedback. Their agents often disconnect calls, and my emails to admin@adrs.co.za go unanswered. Worst company to lend money from rather go to a loan shark than going to Atlas
My grandmother has contacted ABSA several times requesting that a debit order be suspended. She was assured that the suspension would take effect four days ago, yet to this day, she has not received any feedback or confirmation. Each time she called, the agents either dropped the call or promised that she would be contacted with an update — but no one has followed up. This ongoing lack of communication and accountability is extremely disappointing, especially considering that my grandmother has been a loyal ABSA customer for over 20 years. The debit order is scheduled to go off on the 30th, and with no action or response from ABSA, she is understandably anxious and frustrated. It’s disheartening that despite numerous assurances, all she has received are empty promises and no resolution. After decades of trust and loyalty, this experience has left her feeling completely let down by the bank’s service.
