Wrote a previous complaint about there online service. They rep**** to hallopeter that they would send me a personal reply. To date no reply received from Makro Cornubia. Holding us public members who support their shop for idiots it seems like?
Ordered a driver side wing mirror for my Ford Club Gag 2.2 Diesel in mid December 2025 paid in full for the mirror. I keep calling parts department every two week latest reply from this department shipment on its way waiting on ford head office factory to send same. This week Wednesday 11 03 2026 called the Dealer Principal he promised to follow up immediately and HE would call me back on the same day. To date no call received back from the dealer principal waiting patiently for his call three days later still no call. I use to also service my LDV with them but stopped middle of last year as their service department is also as useless as their spares department
Makro Cornubia kzn online ordering. unqualified staff working in this department. on 31 January i was in the online department to order electrical ***** in security cameras as advertised by Makro. i requested three cameras. The Makro employer that assisted me charged me twice x three cameras on my bank card which i only noticed when i got home. i was informed the items purchased would take two weeks to be delivered to my home address. I was refunded for the overcharge on 04 02 2026 so now i was waiting for the order of three security cameras to be delivered. After four weeks of not receiving any delivery on the items purchased i called Makro online department to be toled that they have refunded me the cash for my order into my bank account on 05 13 2026. obviously very disappointed with Makro for this and their excuse is the supplier fault as they did not deliver the items ordered and paid for by me. however i feel they robbing the public by taking your money for and order then cancelling the order after five weeks of my cash laying in another business account and drawing interest on my monies. How many other customers have not experienced the similar situation as mine where my monies are benefiting a company that is not delivering on goods ordered but drawing interest on the customers monies paid into their account and cancelling ones order after five weeks
Rodney quotes to build pine wood steps with treated timber. Timber delivered to my home is untreated timber not treated timber. I inform Rodney the timber is not treated yet i was quoted for treated timber. Timber supplier confirms timber supp**** is untreated. Rodney builds staircase and 4 weeks later the timber goes black with mildew as he used untreated timber yet he charged me for treated timber. i also needed plumbing work done and floor tilling. Rodney supply's a sub contractor for the plumbing and tiling work. biggest mistake the contractor he supplies is a Elvis Moodley. this chap messed up the shower outlet pipe never connected same to the main grey water pipe. Shower overflowing it would not drain fast enough. Tiling no straight lines all skew. My garden laborer could have done a better job. Grey water problem water leaking out above the garden soil. Rodney comes up with a solution that does not work. Requested 3 times to come repair his mistake on the grey water system. Eventually had to call in another plumber to correct Rodney mess he made with the grey water leak. i requested a refund on the job Rodney did but did not solve the problem. Rodney says i am ******ing money from him. HowP can i pay for a job that he suggested and the job/selution he suggested did not work. .
Helene from PME Attorneys in Ballito KZN requested a valuation report from me for a 2.2 ha property that was being sold by one of there clients. I sent the report with my invoice for the cost to do the valuation to Helene. after a few weeks of not receiving payment for the valuation report i called PME Office to be informed by Helene that i must ask the seller to pay me for the valuation i sent her. I informed Helene that the seller did not request the valuation from me and that she requested the valuation from me and she needs to pay me and not the seller of the property. To date no payment received. I even left a few messages with the owner Vincent of PME concerning this matter to date he has not bothered to reply to my messages I even tried calling Vincent concerning this matter but he does not answer my calls either.
Very poor service received from Elvis Moodley. Plumbing he was supposed to connect in a new flat unit the following kitchen sink hand basin in shower and toilet to the house main outlet. The toilet hand basin and kitchen sink all connected and working perfect. Shower water would not drain fast and building up in the shower. Elvis came back twice at my expense fetching and delivering back home from Stanger to Blythedale. Elvis removed the sink elbow that he fitted to the shower outlet and fitted a ninety degree elbow. Still the water would not drain fast out the shower. after this i requested him via WhatsApp that the shower is still a problem. Elvis ignored my request to come sort out my shower problem. I then got in another plumber and he found the problem. Elvis never connected the shower outlet pipe on the outside of the unit to the the grey water main pipe. The water was draining into the soils where he covered all the piping on the outside of the unit. the floor tilling is the worst i have seen no spacers were used to give neat spacing between the tiles for the grouting some areas are narrow and other areas are wide in the shower he damaged some tiles as well chipping the tiles with a small grinder. i invoiced him for the shower repair but he has refused to pay. Now i have gone to small claims court to settle this matter.
Wheel claming at junction ballito mall no sinage to say two parkings are for delivery trucks yellow lines are so badly faded you can hardly see the lines security guards on duty in car park dont inform you these two parkings are reserved for delivery trucks when u finished shopping u find your vehicle has a wheel clamp and two security guards ate now standing and watching you and when i spoke to one he turns his back on me and walks away no manners with these chaps end up having to pay a r300 fine to remove wheel clamp it seems the car guards are waiting for vehicles to be caught in these two parkings very un professional the way they operate thanks
Sherwin sold me a second hand gate motor guaranteed its 100 percent working unit. the electric fence technician i use for my repairs Brain knows Sherwin and Brain collected the unit to install same. after installing the unit my gate only opened and closed for 3 days. brain came out and found the battery on the gate motor was flat. the electronic board was removed by Brain and sent to a specialist company to check same. cost to repair is r650 on discussing same with Sherwin the supplier he refused to pay for the repair. i then suggested we go 50/50 on the repair but Sherwin whos the owner of SD GATES refused. to me this is poor after sales service and detrimental to his business in our area of the North Coast in KZN FROM Umhlanga in the South to Richards bay in the North
