Thanks for not processing my r11,000 refund that was supposed to be in my account A MONTH AGO!!! Pathetic. I will be moving my money to another bank real soon.
I placed an online order and when it arrived, one of the items was incorrect in quantity. They sent 1/3 of the said item. I called immediately and was told feedback would be provided within 48hrs. Didn't happen. Called again and was told I would hear back within 2hrs. Didn't happen. They do not care, if delivered and its incorrect its not their problem. No one in their right mind would pay R330 for 4 packets of wet wipes, but try explaining their own promo to them. Absolutely disgusting an unprofessional.
Placed an order on 16/3, some items were delivered 21/3, when queried, was told the last item would arrive by 28/3. Nothing, no feedback, no delivery. Pathetic service, will not be supporting your company again.
I am currently in the market for a new fridge and freezer and was browsing around and decided on the Samsung Bespoke Fridge and Freezer. Found myself on Makro's site since their prices seemed to be the lowest. Added to cart, and then remembered, they have not processed a refund of R2000 that was promised to me 6 months ago. Guess Takealot has scored another sale as Makro can't keep their promises. I would rather pay more for better service. You can keep the R2000 Makro. You clearly need it more than I do with all the *********** staff you have over there.

I purchased a product from Makro Online on 20 September, 2023. The product was part of a bundle which had 3 components. They decided to ship 2 of the 3 items as one of the items were no longer in stock. And as I would have no use for the remaining 2 products, I cancelled the order and requested a refund. I have not had any feedback about my refund 4 months later aside from the "escalated to relevant department" response. Why are you not refunding your customers Makro?
I purchased Naturex 100% Pure Acetone 5L - Blue from takealot on 9 December 2023. The product was delivered dripping on the 12th of December. As the bottle was still full I accepted the delivery and stored it in my workplace in an upright position to prevent it from leaking any further. The day after that I opened the bottle to inspect the contents, only to find out that it is one of those extremely cheap containers and that the cap does not seal, at all, no matter how much you tighten it. I promptly submitted a return request and packaged the bottle in a box. It was collected the next day on the 14th. Today, on the 18th, I noticed that the return was concluded, which is funny as no email was sent to convey this message, and to my surprise, takealot rejected the return, with absolutely no reason given, aside from some line about further email communication while no email was sent.. Now, I can only assume that the rest of the acetone had leaked out over the long weekend, but fortunately for me I have CCTV installed in my workplace which shows that the bottle was still full when packaged for return. So, takealot, care to refund my money? Or are you taking the side of the supplier who is selling highly flammable substances in cheap plastic containers?
I purchased 6 x 25kg bags of organic mulch from Makro online on 11 November, 2023 from a third party reseller (Siyakhana) through their marketplace. On 23 November, 2023, I receive a shipment of 8 black garbage bags filled with some substance, allegedly mulch. The bags totaled less than 34kg. When I reported the matter to Makro, they were very dismissive, but, offered to rectify the issue with the supplier committing the *****. So, I waited some more, and eventually noticed a payment of R98.00 in my bank account. The total cost of the mulch was R300, at R50 per 25kg. I was refunded R98.00 on 30 November, 2023, on an order that was supposed to have been fixed. Where is my money, Makro??? Have you not ****** enough from me? I am waiting for multiple refunds???

7 months after installing a D5 gate motor it decides to keep tripping the mains. I contacted their support via their app, only for them to tell me that I have to take the motor into a branch. I explained that I am not able to do this and they recommended installers in my area. I am not paying to have anything inspected which should be covered by warranty, and I am certainly not leaving my property accessable due to faulty hardware on a ****py gate motor.
