**1/5 – Extremely disappointing, will never return** We visited this restaurant today (10 January 2026) in Mossel bay, and honestly, it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. My mom’s steak arrived raw. I sent mine back because it was also raw, and when it came back the SECOND time, it was still raw. They clearly couldn’t get it right. My knife was dirty when it was placed on the table – properly with old food stuck to it. The glass my cold drink came in smelled like egg (yes, really). The toilet seat in the bathroom was broken. They promised everyone a little bowl of snacks (chips) “when you arrive” – we’re more than an hour in and we still haven’t received ours. The menu is more of a suggestion than anything else; several items listed were simply not available. When we asked about children, the response was: “We don’t really cater for children.” The coffee machine wasn’t working. The waiter warned us in advance that we’d have to pay for sides (as if that was a favour), and if you want to order a ****tail, you should “be prepared to wait” – which seems to be the theme for everything here. My poor dad was embarrassed that we were pointing all this out, but I’m sorry – when you’re paying R200+ per person for undercooked food, dirty cutlery, and a broken toilet, you have every right to say something. Please stay away. There are much better places out there. This one doesn’t deserve your time or your money.
We had a house break more than two weeks ago. We submitted the claim with all the necessary documentation and proof with a case number. We expressed to Safire that is was urgent as some things needed for our newborn to go to daycare were ******. We still have no clarity of any progress made. Pathetic!
We ordered 4 rib and cheese burgers and ALL of them were raw. We had to cook them all again.
