<p>DO NOT do business with these guys. They claimed to fix my appliance, took money from me without an invoice or receipt (which I should have insisted on, my mistake), and then when I called them to come and sort out, they kept ignoring my calls and making false promises, till the owner mentioned I don't have proof of an invoice, which means I've been scammed. Please use this as a lesson to always insist on a receipt. Their website does not have an address, which should have made me suspicious in the first place. </p>
<p>I spent over 3 hours yesterday at two different MTN stores trying to take out 2 new contracts. Yes MTN, TWO NEW contracts. Both times the consultants said that my profile is locked because of an outstanding R190. I was an MTN contract customer for years and then moved to prepaid about a year ago, which was done at an MTN store. Now over a year later, when I try to take out a 50GB per month contract that was only valid for 21 Dec, I get the message from MTN saying I can't. They saying legal has to unblock my profile. What in the world was MTN legal doing all this time???? I never received a single email, sms, phone call or letter stating that I owe them money. It's only R190 which I would have paid immediately. But because of their incompetence to notify me, I have now missed out on the special for yesterday. Utterly disappointed. Congrats MTN on losing a R24k customer because of your failure to notify me.</p>
I have a landline which I have been paying for, for the past 6 months which HAS NOT worked. I've logged call after call. It works for a day and then not for months. Please can I get some urgency on my line, and I demand a refund / credit for all the time this line was not useable as I was not able to receive or make calls.
