do not buy their ****. You will regret it. You will not get any feedback or assistance and communicating with them js impossible. every repair is costly and the performance is worse after the repair, They are happy to charge more for a repair than a new device.
Beware Planet Fitness is like a disease that you cannot shake.... We Joined planet fitness George On the last day of April 2024. Their Sales pitch the day before promised me and my spouse membership for 2 people under their buddy tag plan for 2years at R750 pm. Once we had signed on the dotted line, the offer was reduced to one person getting the membership . One person getting the App. One person getting the assessment and so forth. The other person was an unwelcome guest that had to be escorted around the gym at all times, and it was made clear that a guest could be asked to leave at any time and for any reason. An additional annual fee of R700 was also added after signing. After 20 days, our access tag was still not working, and casual question as to when it would be resolved resulted in an offhand comment, suggesting that we resolve it with the national call center. We opted to cancel our membership. We gladly paid their cancelation fee and were happy to return to our old Gym where everyone is welcome. Sadly, this was not the end As Planet Fitness opted to present a debit order at midnight on the 1st. And If you dont Like it... PHONE THE NATIONAL CALL CENTRE
What a confusing experience. The cleaning staff were great, friendly and lovely to converse with. The equipment fantastic, latest greatest quality. the patrons, although a bit formal at first, warmed up quickly and were in general very friendly. However, the one issue issue made us spend a lot of cash to get out of there as soon as possible, was the reception and reception management need to be educated in the difference between professionalism and rudeness. Currently they are on the wrong side of the line. If you want to work out in a welcoming friendly Gym, this is not the gym for you!
