I submitted all required claim documents on the 2nd of April 2026, yet, as of today, it has been eight weeks, and my claim remains unprocessed. Each week, I have made follow-up calls regarding the status of my claim, and I have consistently received different and conflicting information. Most recently, I was informed that the processing timelines would only begin from the date the funds were de-invested, which was on the 24th of April 2026. This has left me confused and frustrated, as I believe that the processing of my claim should reflect the date I submitted my documents. Unauthorized upgrade has been made to my Vodacom contract without my knowledge or consent. I recently discovered that my contract was upgraded, and I am now being billed for a service that I did not approve. I did not give Vodacom any verbal, written, or digital authorization for this upgrade. This action constitutes a violation of my consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), Act 68 of 2008, which requires explicit consent for any changes to a consumer contract. Provide proof of my authorization for this upgrade (such as a signed document or voice recording).
I am sooo disappointed by Sanlam. I was retrenched from my workplace and my employer send all necessary documents for pension fund withdrawal claim to Sanlam on 14 May 2024. The following week after the claims form were send to Sanlam by my former employer, I called Sanlam to verify if everything is in order, which they did confirm and advise that the pension fund will be paid within 4 to 6 weeks period of my claim. Today(12-July-2024), I have not received any of my funds and there is no feedback from Sanlam. Now is more than 10 weeks, no funds received, no feedback from Sanlam. Furthermore- all my emails are being ignored by Sanlam. Call Center is not helping at all. All call center agents, they keep on promising to escalate the matter, but still no feedback from Sanlam. Why should I have to wait so long for my money???????? On top of that, I'm being ignored.
