PC International - a first-class operation!
Over the weekend my HP printer ran out of ink. I had urgent documents to print on the Monday. After checking online prices through several merchants, I happened upon PC International on Bram Fischer Drive, Randburg. I spoke to a 'salesman', who confirmed the cartridges were in stock. When i arrived at the premises, the salesman collected the package before i even mentioned my name! The prices were exceptional, cheaper than other retailers, the service was outstanding and I was delighted with the overall experience. A 100% recommendation for PC International. The company sells many different IT-related products - well worth a visit.

N-Squared Automation to resolve gate issues.
N-Squared Automation, operating in North Riding and surrounds, is a family-run security gate operation. Having had issues thanks to load-shedding, I contacted Nicole and Nick of N-Squared Automation to see if Nick would visit and give me suggestions on sorting out my gate problem. The service and professionalism were top class and Nick resolved the problems and additional matters were also addressed. The gate is now "sorted" and i believe it will operate satisfactorily even during extended power outages. Furthermore, the costs involved were very reasonable. i thoroughly recommend N-Squared Automation for any security gate problems.

Builders Express - highly efficient
On Saturday 13 January '24, i visited Builders Express at Florida Glen to purchase two Eco water tanks. They were on special at the time. I was treated with ultra-professional courtesy and efficiency. The tanks were invoiced and delivery instructions noted. At 13:15 on Saturday, the two tanks were delivered to my home and carried into position by the driver and his assistant. The service i received was second to none. I highly recommend this business.

MTN ***** dept doesn't care about loyal customers!
In late October, I discovered that 2 other cell-phone numbers appeared on my monthly statement. These 2 numbers ran up transaction costs of more than R4000. My monthly account of R733 was reflected correctly against my number. With two visits to MTN Clearwater, my account was changed from a debit order to cash. MTN ***** dept requested an affidavit and supporting documents; these I submitted within a couple of days. The next month (November) I paid my R733 cash at the Clearwater office, but there were further charges on the 2 *****ulent numbers. On Monday 11 December, I re-submitted all my documents to the ***** dept again. Oh joy from these clowns!! Today my account has been suspended. What a thundering disgrace is MTN; *****ulent activities on my account and I'm being 'punished'. No response from the ***** dept (must be inundated with complaints!) MTN sucks! No concern for the customers. Shocking service!

Mi8 Security - highly professional and effective
Mi8 Security has provided me with first-class and rapid response services over the past 3 years. Initially, Marnus and his staff repaired my electric gates, then a Mag-Lock was fitted. Later, I requested a small adjustment be made to the timing. More recently, after the cabling had been destroyed by one of my dogs, highly efficient Mi8 men came to my home, repaired the cabling and also adjusted the timing again. Unquestionably, a most professional and effective security company. I highly recommend Mi8 Security.

Exceptional service from Sovereign Foods
The company Sovereign Foods produces a number of top quality chicken products. I enquired last week where I would be able to purchase the Boneless Chicken Thighs. I received a detailed response within 24 hours from Jackie, an absolute star! Thank you so much folks and you in particular, Jackie.

Cancelling your MultiChoice/DStv/Showmax account
MultiChoice/DStv/Showmax. Never try to cancel your subscription with this crowd. Despite telephonically cancelling in August 2019, followed up by numerous emails (and phone conversations) over the past 2 years, I am still being hounded by staff or debt collectors who claim I owe MultiChoice a some R208 from 2019. Curiously, after the last bout of communication in September this year, I was assured that the matter had been resolved, that steps had been taken to "clear" my account and that I would not be hassled again. I submitted ALL email correspondence and even received a weak apology for the inconvenience. Well, this Saturday, I received another call telling me I owed money. My irritation with this company and its incompetence has moved through the anger stage to the point where I am now incandescent with rage. I assume MultiChoice may contact me now, but what's the point? No-one seems capable of sorting out this matter.
