Have motor insurance with Pineapple-logged a claim with them for a shattered window last week Monday - have been in contact telling them that I travel for work and it is unsafe with the window as it's totally useless and goes down but can't go back up-so I'm travelling 200km a day with an half open window that holds on by threads. Until now - I just got messages that they are still processing my claim. Not recommended.
Joined Unity in May - tried to submit claims through the app - weren't able to - tried to get in contact with them, but to no avail. I would not recommend this plan.
I've logged a complaint about my home loans account previously and received a private reply from Absa - now they state the case had been resolved and closed, but the correct account/complaint had not been addressed.
My house was sold and registered - Absa owed me outstanding moneys (credits) that showed on the home loan account, but was never passed. The home loan account was then stopped and deleted on their side, so I have no access to this account anymore and are not able to view or print any previous statements. I have logged a query on 12/05/2021 with reference 10474346 and have followed up, but to no avail.
I want to cancel my policy with King Price. I've tried to contact them via a website enquiry, email and telephonically to no avail.
Every Friday I get notifications about my bank balances via sms that I get charged for. I did not go into the bank to activate this service and upon trying to cancel it I am told that I have to go into the bank to do this as this is a security feature. I told the lady that I'm not able to physically go to the bank, but they just refuse to assist. This is one more of Absa's schemes getting more money from their loyal customers who stuck with them for years.
Don't order from these guys - I've been waiting for more than 3 weeks now for a delivery. They ignore communication and just don't seem to want your business.
Sat 25 Aug 2019 my dad had to take a flight from George to Johannesburg via Safair, but forgot his ID book at home and could not board the flight. He had to get his ID book and come back for the later flight, but was without transport to get back home. Ivane Prins and Keenan Philander went out of their way and beyond to assist him and made sure he got onto the next available flight even assisting him to sort out his ID to be able to board. We just want to thank these two people and give them our sincerest appreciation - we have never had customer service like this - Thank you so much Ivane, Keenan, Safair and George Airport - you guys are amazing.
I've had insurance with Oakhurst from 2015 - Friday 2 Aug I was rear ended by another vehicle - I could not get hold of Oakhurst the whole Friday to ask what I need to do and where I need to go - eventually I logged a claim online, got an automated claim number with Handler details - up and until today I've only gotten hold of her once. I've requested for her to phone me back - I've emailed and just now again tried to phone - Friday will be two weeks and no assistance from Babalwa Pita. I am now driving a car that can't lock because the boot can't close. A few years ago I had the same problem trying to claim for a windscreen - A truck's tyre came off and hit my windscreen on the driver side - I had to drive with a windscreen I could not see out of for a month before they assisted.
On the 10th of November we took a morning flight from George to Jhb and I took the wrong hand luggage. At 11 that evening I realized my mistake and phoned early on Sunday morning to ask whether my luggage was at the airport. The lady I spoke to just after 7 was not helpful at all, but when phoning later on I spoke to Gladys and another lady on duty who assisted me immediately. We drove to the airport-they gave us great directions where to park and they even brought the luggage to our car. Really impressed by their service - 5 stars for Gladys and the lady (I didn't catch her name) working with her that morning and also the gentleman that came out to show us where to park.
