I got pleasantly assisted by Vuyo. She handled my query with interest and she was helpful. Thank you so much Vuyo, much appreciated.
I have been trying to call Old Mutual from yesterday 04 March 2019. I have called twice and on all occasions I was kept on hold for almost 20 minutes, until I decided that it was not worth it and dropped. I am still trying to call today and it is the same story. Old mutual your service or lack of it, sucks. I want to cancel the policy I have with you. I am taking my business elsewhere. I cant afford to be kept on hold for an hour.
I had called ADT 3 times in 3 days wanting to cancel my rental. All these people whom I had spoken to, outlined the process of cancellation and promised to send me the details of where I should send my written notice of cancellation. None of these people had send anything even though they have confirmed my email address. Adt, your delaying tactics are not going to work. I want this alarm removed from my house as it has been going off almost everyday and I have been notified that I have exceeded the monthly threshold, and will be charged extra. You have sent 3 technicians to date to repair the alarm but the problem still persists. Whose fault is that? Why must I be penalised for something that even Adt cannot fix? I want the alarm removed from my house. I had noted the day I had called for cancellation and if you are not going to let me cancel this officially, you will never get your payment. Mark my words.
My Adt alarm is problematic as it was going off everyday sometimes up to three times a day. I tried logging the call but was told I had to pay about R 900.00 for after hours, as I arrive home around 6pm. Then thereafter the call was logged by Adt to come and fix it. Then came in two technicians one after the other to come and fix it. During these times, I had to make sacrifices like leaving work early, which is problematic in itself. To my dismay, the alarm kept going off for no reason even after it was supposedly "fixed". This morning I was unable to arm it and I called for help and was scheduled for this afternoon which required me to leave early again. Unfortunately, this time around I was not called in time to be able to leave the office on time and the call was cancelled and I am being told that the technician will come tomorrow morning; of which I must arrive at work late. Adt my alarm is off; should anything happen to my house, you will pay. And keep keep on leaving work when your technicians are unable to fix what is wrong with the alarm system. It's either you are going to get it right or remove the damn thing from my house! Enough is enough! I will not keep on paying for the system that needs to be fixed every now and then and contribute to me having bad blood with my employer!
I went to Autoteam Menlyn to view a vehicle after making an inquiry online. I viewed the car and submitted all documentation and was approved by the banks. However on processing the car I was told by the sales man, Julius that someone had already make a deposit on the car and it be sold to someone else.

I cancelled the deal, only to be told days later that the car is available again, since the person who wants to buy it is not forthcoming of which my hopes were raised again only to be dashed this morning that the person who bought it has signed online, so I cannot get the car again.

This game is unprofessional. Don't you people have legal statutes that governs your business, in terms of quotations and deposits? Obviously, there are deep management issues here. Auto team Menlyn seemed to be run like a spaza shop.

The Manager, Nicholas Bester obviously couldn't make tough decisions in term of ensuring customer satisfaction, which is worrying to say the least.

Auto team, you just lost a customer. Your business antics have left a bitter in my mouth.

I called First For Women in trying to review my insurance which I feel the premium is to high. Instead of trying to see what they can do for me as a customer, the guy suggested that I move to two other insurance companies. Really? is that is how you treat women and claim to be the top company catering for women's needs?

I will be cancelling my insurance because of this shabby treatment. I cannot go on doing business with company that is not even willing to try, but rather ship me off without any consideration.
I called Ampath today at 10:00 am wanting to make an enquiry, the lady who answered the phone (Afrikaans-speaking) responded to my call. Immediatedly after telling her the reason for my call, she just started conversing with other people and totally ignored me. She didn't even bother to tell me she had put me on hold.

I kept on saying hello, hello but she continued with her conversation.

Why even bother answering the phone when you know that customers are just a nuisance to your company? That was uncalled for and lady need to learn some manners and telephone ettiquete. I called two more times after that and she totally ignored the phone.
