Before I purchased a Ford Ranger in March from Andy at Auto Team, I specifically asked if the bakkie had a driver airbag to which he replied yes it does. Only after the cash purchase, did a realize that it didn't have any airbags which I sometimes require at some customer sites. Since then he has "promised" to rubberize my load bin, to compensate his mistake, but has yet to fulfill his promise, which I doubt he will. If purchasing from Auto Team Menlyn, stay away from Andy!

Ek het n kar gekoop (my voertuig in geruil vir n kar by hulle). Nadat aan my gese was per epos en per "whatsapp" en telefonies en ook face to face dat ek Aug maand nie n premie gaan betaal nie wat sin maak want ekt nog nooi met die koop of in ruil van n voetuig daai maand n premie gehad nie het daar sowaar n premie af gegaan. Ek gedink dit is n fout van die bank se kant af want menige kere was daar mos nou gese ek gaan nie n premie he nie deur die verkoops person Francois as ook die f&i Anne so ekt die premie laat reverse by die bank. Min het ek geweet dat daar n nuwe settlement aan gevra is wat dit verander het en hulle my nie gese het daarvan nie. maw as ek nie gevra het dat die nuwe voertuig se premie eers Sep moet af gaan nie het ek 2 paaiement gehad wat sou af gegaan het. N mens werk mos jou maand se begrotting uit, noudat hulle nie die natis kan kry nie want daar is n paaiement uitstaande nou moet ek die betaling maak. Die bestuur se net: Huidiglik is die ander voertuig nog op U naam en sal ons nie verantwoordelikheid neem vir enige verkeers oortreding wat met die voertuig mag plaasvind aangesien ons nie die Natis van die bank kan kry en die voertuig op ons naam sit nie, omdat U die debiet order gestop het.

Poor services on black customers. During the process of buying a new car through a black sales man called Mandla who is the only black person in the team working with no support structure frim his colleugues. They made me spend close to R1500 just to get the trasaction through for unreasonable demands from the FIS who act like a Garage manager by the name of Anne. I went to fetch the car i celebared with my kids and after two days they came back to take back the car claiming that my driver lisense is not a proper one. They made me to apply for a new ID eventhough i had the ID application and addidavit. Anne just made the whie process complecated. The best she could do was to tell me that she is qualified for her job. On second car delivery they made us wait for more than two hurs because Mandla the backscreen saver was late they lied to say he too the car keys with at home. The second car we bought from them it has the expired permit which is against the South African laws. It was part of the deal that they will apply for double disc and yes our temporal expired and still waiting on them with empty promises. No formal delivery of a car with compliments they just throw you with the key no thank you or a simple complimentary like other decent garages do. The second car we bought from them is meant for business guess what it is a painin there .... cos the insurance had to deduct R3500 including prorata for a car which is not opeartibg due to delays caused by Auto team. They made us to write a declaration for me to collect tge car from Pretoria however they made my mom to drive all tge way from Thohoyandou to sign. They made her choose whole lot of unnecessary costs which are not important for a business car according to us. They must just inform all black people tonever enter thier primises to buy cars from them. My mother want to take back the car and please help this is the ony soution left for us.

My wife purchased a vehicle from Autoteam Menlyn at the beginning of January 2018, everything went fine and the deal was handled fast and efficient, after driving the vehicle for a few days after collection (12/01/2018) I had contacted the dealer to report that there was a fault with the vehicle(15/01/2018), the dealer arranged for the vehicle to be collected(17/01/2018) and repaired this was exactly 5 days after we initially collected the vehicle. I was told the vehicle would be checked and repaired. 1 week passed and when I contacted the dealer they told me the car was being looked at and that I should expect the vehicle the following week, when I called back within the week I was told to expect the car, I was told that the vehicle had only THEN gone in to be looked at and that they were busy with it. After another week I called again and was informed that the car had been taken back to the manufacturer to have the gearbox fixed. another week had passed and when I contacted the dealer , this time with my patience having been worn thin I was told by the dealer that I should be patient as they are paying R12000 for the repair. When I last enquired (Friday 09/02/2018) about the vehicle I was told that the car has been fixed and will be tested for the weekend and Monday (12/02/2018) to ensure the repair was successful (Awfully long time to test a repair in my opinion, but fair enough at least I had a proper timeline). When I had not heard from the dealer on the Monday, I again contacted them only to be told the vehicle MIGHT be ready for the DEALER to collect on the Tuesday (13/02/2018). The vehicle has been "In for repair" for just over a month now, the dealer did provide us with a loan car two weeks after the car went in for repairs, our frustration lies in the fact that we cannot seem to get an accurate timeline for when the vehicle will be done and it seems as though the dealer is purposely delaying and not being transparent w.r.t what is going on with the vehicle, constantly extending timelines, at this point we are considering cancelling the entire deal and demanding a refund for all deposits and fees paid as this is truly not how business should be conducted. It seems to me as though as long as you are buying a vehicle they are happy to accommodate but if the vehicle has issues then you (The customer) are put on the back burner and are forced to fight for answers and all you get are excuses.

I went to Autoteam Menlyn to view a vehicle after making an inquiry online. I viewed the car and submitted all documentation and was approved by the banks. However on processing the car I was told by the sales man, Julius that someone had already make a deposit on the car and it be sold to someone else.<br> <br> I cancelled the deal, only to be told days later that the car is available again, since the person who wants to buy it is not forthcoming of which my hopes were raised again only to be dashed this morning that the person who bought it has signed online, so I cannot get the car again.<br> <br> This game is unprofessional. Don't you people have legal statutes that governs your business, in terms of quotations and deposits? Obviously, there are deep management issues here. Auto team Menlyn seemed to be run like a spaza shop.<br> <br> The Manager, Nicholas Bester obviously couldn't make tough decisions in term of ensuring customer satisfaction, which is worrying to say the least.<br> <br> Auto team, you just lost a customer. Your business antics have left a bitter in my mouth. <br> <br>
