Harassment After two formal complaints this company continues to harass me with up to five calls a day from them. This has progressed so far that legal action is being considered against this company who I never gave my details to.
Yet another spam business which sells your contact details off to other companies for money. This company is the direct cause of spam calls. I have been called regarding wills, insurance, funeral plans and more.
This company is the absolute worst. I have complained on a dozen or more different occasions about opt out sms harassment, I've been removed supposedly from the databases on almost every occasion yet I am still plagued by Vodacom and their spam. They have refused over and over again to furnish me with the details of how I am getting repeatedly signed up to the rubbish and even now, each and every day I receive opt-out sms spam. I am at the end of my rope with this useless provider and am extremely happy my contract is coming to an end in a few months. I have considered legal action against Vodacom, this is how frustrated I am with this lack of service. I have been scammed by Vodacom employees who have responded to my complaints and Vodacom has shown absolutely ZERO interest in this fact when it has been brought to their attention. This company is disgusting and I write this to warn others that should they sign up for a Vodacom contract, they need to be prepared to have their phone number sold and to have endless spam sent to them, caller tunes, data offers from third party companies who somehow know your contract, price plan and data usage details as well as no help whatsoever when you complain about these issues. Another mickey mouse company resorting to spam sms to try lure in customers. I didn't ask to be harassed on my private cell number with opt-out sms. Low-class marketing to me, shows you are a low class business. It is unethical to expect the public to spend money and time to opt out of your useless ****.

Not only have I requested on over five separate occasions to be removed from their databases and spam lists but I have had 3 calls to customer care which have so far been fruitless, Vodacom refuses to inform me where and when i have been added to these spam lists and has failed to stop these sms' being sent to me. On two occasions I have received these things either immediately after complaining or on the very next day which shows me Vodacom has done NOTHING to remedy the situation. Vodacom sells your details to third parties who then harass you and even in one instance, attempted to commit fraud with my details. Vodacom couldn't be less interested in helping the individual client. I have 2 months left of my contract with this awful service provider thank god as I am frustrated beyond words with this incompetent *****s.
