Never use this company! Our vehicle was taken to North City Panel Beaters on 24 July 2024, I called them on 16 August for an update (at this point they'd had the vehicle for 3 weeks) and was told that they were waiting for parts. They send an update on 20 August on Whatsapp that they were still waiting for parts, I called them asking them to send me a list of parts that they were battling to source so that I could try source them myself. It was apparently a door. I requested a Courtesy Car (they don't provide courtesy cars). I then called them again on 26 August, after not receiving the update that they had promised me and was told that they are expecting delivery of a door (that I have managed to source myself) either on 26 or 27 August. I called them again on 29 August (at this point they've had the vehicle for 5 weeks). They had still not received the door, then I got a different response after my insurance advisor spoke to them that the door they received was too badly damaged and that they would be sending it back. I told them that they need to liaise with the insurance company to get approval for a new door (instead of a second had one). When I called them again on 30 August I was told that they would be sending a request for the new part to the insurance company but that it would need to be on back order so I could expect to wait up to 6 weeks for the part. On 5 September when I followed up with them again, I was told that the car was with the panel beaters and that additional damages had been found on the car that they would need to request approval on from the insurance company. At this stage I was absolutely livid, as according to my knowledge additional damage claims should have been logged within days of them receiving the vehicle (not 5 weeks later). This means that they didn't even look at the car until this point. I spoke to my insurance company who conference called them with me on the line and we just heard excuse after excuse from them. At this stage I was done with North City Panel Beaters and when we closed the call with them I informed my insurance company that I wanted the vehicle removed from North City Panelbeaters and taken to another Panelbeater. This was arranged and the vehicle was delivered to the new Panelbeaters on Tuesday 10 September. The new panelbeaters had already send the claim assessment on Wednesday 11 September and send the additional damages claim on Thursday 12 September. It looks like North City Panelbeater also caused further damage to the vehicle, as my new Panelbeater has said that the accident could not have caused some of the damage that they found; unfortunately I do not have any proof as pictures were not taken of the engine compartment directly after the accident. I would definately stay as far away from this company as possible and would insist on an alternative should any insurance company recommend them.
I purchased a set of knives from Takealot as a gift in 2021. I ordered the Berlinger Haus 6-Piece Titanium Coating Knife Set with Hanger - Carbon Pro (from Takealot) and noticed on, 25 July 2023, that the titanium coating was flaking off of the knife. I sent a complaint to Takealot who referred me to Berlinger Haus directly. I then e-mailed them on info@berlingerhaus.co.za (the oly e-mail address I could find for them) and have not received any response or feedback at all. I find this lack of customer service very concerning for a big brand like Berlinger Haus and am extremely disappointment in them. I would not recommend their products to anyone and will never purchase / use this brand again
"I've been a customer of dotsure.co.za for 2 years, and I can't recommend them enough. Their customer service is top-notch, always friendly and ready to assist. The claims process is straightforward and efficient, which is a huge relief during stressful times. I feel confident knowing that my car is well-insured with dotsure.co.za. #DotsureCarFans"
I sent an email to their customer service (info@berlingerhaus.co.za) on 1 August regarding a Knife Set and I have not had a response from them at all. Do they not care about their customer? I will never ever get any of their products ever again
When I first enrolled my children with Think Digital Academy (in 2020) I was very impressed with them. They seemed very involved and everything went well. 2021 was also ok with no problems experienced. I am no longer impressed with them at all. We have been experiencing problems week after week with lessons being in Afrikaans (when English is our Home Language) and lessons not being audible. We have also had issues with the curriculum, we've had experiences when my children have been tested on work that has not been taught - there is nothing in the lessons about the work tested. And I feel that all our concerns have just been brushed over with nothing actually being done. We were also caught out with needing to pay additional fees for Grade 12 - this is over and above the standard fees we paid when registering for 2023. It would have been more cost effective to enrol my children at a private school with actual lessons and teachers to talk to. I am actually very disappointed in TDA and my child is really struggling with their Grade 12 even after putting in a huge effort - TDA just don't seem to care (they have received our money and now are not worried about doing the best they can for my child). I am really concerned for my youngest child (supposed to do Grade 12 next year, 2024) as I don't think that TDA would be a good option for them. Stay away from this online 'school' unless you want to teach your child yourself
Great experience with Dian Slabbert, explained everything and was super efficient. Happy with my premium and with the service received.
I contacted them to cancel my policy due to the expense of my premium, was referred to Bongiwe who asked if she could review my premium before cancelling. I gave permission for the review and she managed to assist in beating the new quotation I was offered. Very happy with MiWay Insurance and happy to stay a customer of theirs
