I have been a supported of Plascon paint for my entire life, I run a small business called Billy The Builder, and use about 60 liters of paint per week. So I bought a 20 liter drum of Viva white acrylic paint from Build IT Brakpan and my staff had used the paint a couple of time and complained about the quality....I dint think too much of it...but I then used the paint last week, to give a final coat to a newly installed ceiling that had been primed and had already been painted twice with this paint. I honestly cannot tell you how disappointed I was with this paint....I climbed off the ladder and stirred it thoroughly again but it is like white water..it has consistency but there is absolutely no coverage. I contacted Plascon and they gave me a million questions about the clients address, phone number, what was the surface...was it interior or outside. I answered all their questions to no avail. Here is the deal....I do not want my money back...want I want to know is, if this is Plascon's new quality.....I will find another paint manufacturer.
I have been with Discovery Bank and Discovery Card for many years, of lkate I have been mailed stating that my Vitality Points are going to lapse...and on many occasions I have responded stating that I am not a Vitality member.....and my profile confirms this. On investigation I have however found that I am paying a monthly premium to Discovery for this service that I didn't request, don't want and don't receive the benefits of. I obviously tried to contact Discovery...but they require that you phone them, you cannot. email them or contact them any other way. Tried the phone and I am afraid that option will not work...so we go to Hello Peter. I have realised that any company that does not have. a email to contact customer care, does not have customer care.
Uber has been deducting R50 from my account on a regular basis.....I have tried my best for a way to contact Uber but this doesn't exist. The moment there is cash in that account, I pay for an Uber ride in Cape Town...although I live in Benoni. I have deleted the app and will definitely never use Uber again...and I will make sure that I tell my friends and colleagues to avoid Uber at all costs.
On the 10th of December I went to the Builders Warehouse in Benoni and requested a 5 liter can of Duram Summit, which they informed me they had to mix as they do not carry the standard colors in 5 liters tins. The staff mixed the paint and informed me that there might be a small difference in color to the standard paint. I said that a small difference would probably be acceptable. I returned to my site where we are painting and realized that the difference was substantial and unacceptable. I returned to Builders Warehouse the following morning with the supp**** mix and my old tin…only to be informed that there was nothing they could do and would also not refund my payment. They informed me that I should go to the Builders Warehouse in Boksburg as they had the standard colors. I therefore went to the Boksburg branch, and I was informed that they do not carry the 5-liter tins and therefore could not help me. I had staff that were waiting for the paint on site so I eventually landed up buying the paint at Leroy Merlin at an additional cost of R399…and lost 2 hours of running around. To summarize…I run a small renovations company called “Billy The Builder” and spend around R5000 per week at Builders, and an additional R5000 at Leroy Merlin and approximately R10000 per week at Manny’s Hardware. I have used Plascon or Dulux most of my life, but started using Duram about 4 months ago and was impressed with the paint….I am sure you will realize that after this little exercise that I will not be that keen to firstly use Duram again if this is how the colors and options of purchase work and secondly, I will be taking my hardware requirements to Manny’s and Leroy Merlin. It truly pains me to see how the level of customer service in South Africa has landed in the toilet…. Duram came back to me and stated that I should contact them when I go back to builders and they would arrange a refund. That I did on Thursday last week and they responded on Friday and were quote upset that I was unsatisfied that it took 24 hrs. This little episode has cost me three days of labor. Duram paint is not worth that.

This is the second time I am posting bad service from Burger King, last timer one of the meals and the kids Toy wasn't delivered....I posted with no result. I was coerced by my grandson to go to the Northmead Burger King, again...the order was wrong, they provided a take away instead of an eat in. There was no kids toy..(they are out of stock), the outlet was total chaos, at least two other eat in clients returned their order. Even the Takealot orders were being returned. This outlet will die....
I have been a Premium member for just on 24 months...due to employment contra ending I decided to cancel my gym contract.....I have spoken top at least 4 agents in the Planet Fitness call center and confirmed that my last payment...of R799 ids the end of August. I receive another call this morning stating that I owe R1800...which is two months premium, which I agree. IO now receive an SMS stating that I owe R2658.90. The gyms want to know why they are going bankrupt and why nobody is prepared to sign a contract. You can sue me Planet Fitness....try me please.
No feedback on order until the day of delivery…wont use them again
We support this shop almost every day, we bought 48 Hamburger rolls this morning, arranged for 9:30.......we have a function at 13:00 and took the rolls hone to cut and butter....guess what, the rolls are stale...at least a day old. So simple you say...take them back....WE DON'T HAVE TIME, THAT IS WHY WE ARRANGED TO PICK UP AT 9:30. Raymond and Wendy Ackerman would have fired people.
Bunch of ****mers, order a device on the 5th of June.....no response. Then complained and received a mail a week ago saying the items has shipped and I would receive a tracking number within 24 hours....nonsense nothing received. Why did I choose Evertrend....because they are South African.....again nonsense, everything they sell is from China. Beware stay away..Thanx Alyssa Brijlal for nothing. ORDER number EV11087
