In January I did a up grade through Vodacom and on their recommendation switched from Samsung to LG (LG's V20 which they told me was the phone of the year 2016 - sure sales person gets a kick back for every phone they sell) On getting home I was and am still not able to get any cell phone signal on my LG, We have fought with Vodacom since January about this issue as its both my cell phone and my husbands - once you leave the house you get to be able to make calls - as we are in a dip Vodacom said that maybe we were not getting signal so after many fights with them in Sep they came and put a booster up in my house. Well my LG still says emergency calls only. I lodged a complaint on their web page which to date no one has replied to - I then called them and struggled to get them to understand that my whatsapp and e-mails work fine as I am on my homes wi-fi but I am not able to make calls, receive calls, send or receive sms's in the area of my house - they even told me to take my Telkom wireless router to go have it checked - not sure why that would affect making calls. My Samsung works 100% anywhere in the house. So LG was going to get back to me which now two weeks down the line no one had called me back after for a week when they were trying to pass the buck they called daily - so I called to day again (from my landline) and halfway through telling the person on the other side what the issue was they put the phone down on me. So now I sit with a phone that Vodacom bills me for every month that does not work. I work from home so it has bee a year that has been very frustrating since changing from a Samsung to a LG.
Car Details: Smart Car 2004 Price: R50 000.00 Purchase date: 28 Apr 2017 On the 18th of Sep I went to them and mailed them as the car kept jumping out of gear – I had till this stage only added 3 500 km onto the car as the reason for going smaller was due to the fact that I was only doing +/- 20km per day to collect my daughter from school so no longer needed a big car. I had taken it to a company to have a diagnostic test done and took them the errors which got thrown out as they did not feel that such few km could cause the issues showing up. When I went to see Mystic Cars they were all willing to assist at this point as long as I took the car to the garage that they requested I go to – which just happened to be the company that had done the first test. As I did not want to drive the car they said they would arrange for the car to be towed and taken to the garage – well long story short they drove the car to Mystic Cars and it stood there for 2 weeks with nothing happening to the car and every time we spoke to them there was an excuse as to why nothing had happened as yet, in the meantime I had to loan a car so that I was able to get my daughter from school every day as they were not willing to assist in anyway with a car. They then suggested that I take the car through to Star Auto Centre where my car has been since yesterday the 27th of Nov. During this time every time we tried to speak to Mystic cars about who will be paying for the car as the sold me a car that was still with in the 6 months consumer act and they clearly had not done all the proper checks on the car – the showed no interest in anyway. The main issues with the car was the turning angle sensor that was faulty and the engine bolts that were broken and needed to be replaced – total for the bill R11 650.12 and over 2 months not having a car. Star Auto Centre has also confirmed that they don’t feel the things could have gone so wrong in such a short period of time and that Mystic Cars needs to take responsibility – when they called Mystic Cars on our behalf the were not spoken to in away where one could have a conversation with them and come to a point where they agreed to take responsibility. I would like to know what grounds I have for them selling me a car that had not had all the checks like I asked – I have asked them for the confirmation showing what test were done on the car before I bought it and to date I have not been given these documents. I have been in touch with the MIO see if they can assist me in away as I don’t have the R11 650.12 just lying around and have now had to go to the bank for a loan and pay interest for goods sold without full disclosure been given. I do have copies of e-mails sent to Mystic Cars should you need copies of them.
Yet again Vodacom happy to take a person money. I have a contract that was up-graded on the 7th of Dec 2013 and up-graded the contracts now on the 21st of Nov 2015 - so I get billed for both contracts this month, on calling Vodacom I get told that I took a 24 month contract so I have to pay both the charges till the end of Feb 2016. I have two issues here does Vodacom have longer 24 month periods than the rest of us as to me on the 7th of Dec 2015 I would have been paying my old contract for 24 months which was what I agree to do, and should it have been the case where I had to pay both till the end of Feb why was that information not given to a person when up-grading. I told them I did not want to pay more now I am paying double - seems to me that they are just money hungry or they would for sure give the client all the information in my books. Sad to see Vodacom has not changed as this is the second time I have had issued and put something on Hello Peter when it comes to them.
I have had a data contract with Vodacom for about the last 8 years. I cancelled the contract and was told it would run till the end of June - on the 25th of June my data contract was cancelled, leaving me with 5 days without any data for something that a months payment was taken for, this is a 6th of a month yet I was not billed for 25 days but a full 30 days, I have spoken to the call center as well as gone into Vodacom Gateway and no one can advise as to why this happened, this is the second time Vodacom has done this to me, when I changed my phone contract the deleted almost 3000 minutes I had saved and paid for and again when I tried to get them back no one would budge. I just want to know how you can bill some one for 30 days but only offer a 25 day service??????
I used to belong to Virgin Active Reds Mall in Centurion but moved to Ballito and could not justify riding 50km per day to go to gym as the was not a gym in Ballito, a gym has now opened and I have been in to see them as well as call their head office and they have told me that since I cancelled my contract with them its not their problem I have to pay the joining fee again -they will not listen when a person tries to explain why one had to stop going to the gym - it this just a money making racket for them or do they just not need the business.
