I’m back with an updated review, and the verdict is the same: these guys are brilliant. A year ago I raved about my FJ Cruiser drawer system from **The Camper Company** in Somerset West, Cape Town—lightweight, custom-fit, zero squeaks on Tankwa’s corrugations. Twelve months on, it’s still flawless… and they’ve levelled things up. Since then, they’ve added **custom 3D-scan EcoFlow mounting system** and **purpose-built brackets for an air compressor** to my setup. The fit and finish are next-level—clean lines, smart cable routing, easy access for service, and no rattles. Everything looks factory, only better. What keeps me coming back is the combo of **epic, friendly service** and **obsessive attention to detail**. They listen, they advise, and they build gear that actually makes life easier—like how the drawer height still makes that opening rear window a pleasure to use for quick grab-and-go. I can’t say enough good things about Flex Adventures in Somerset West. Huge thanks to Ewan and the team—Markus, “Patrick Swayze,” and Wayne—for their epic service, attention to detail, and top-quality products and fitment. They fitted me in at short notice after a slight glitch with my newly installed setup (Flex Adventures Twin Air Compressor and the Flex TA45 Dual Zone Fridge/Freezer). Not only did they sort it out quickly, they also identified and rectified a potentially disastrous 12V install from elsewhere—proper, expert advice that gave me real peace of mind. What stood out most was their passion for affordable off-roading done right. No pushy sales tactics—just honest guidance, tidy workmanship, and the kind of care you only get from people who genuinely love what they do. The new setup runs beautifully, looks clean, and is built to last. Repeat customer for sure. Thank you, gents—the peace of mind is what matters most, and the excellent service is a bonus to boot! I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the exceptional service of Anthony's Anti-Corrosion coatings and supplies, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed! From start to finish, the team at Anthony's Anti-Corrosion went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect. Throughout the entire process, they constantly kept me in the loop with photos of before, during, and after the work was done. Their attention to detail was meticulous, and it was evident in the end result. They took the time to ensure that everything was cleaned, masked, and taped with great care, which was very reassuring. I must say that I was blown away by the passion, knowledge, and dedication that the team at Anthony's Anti-Corrosion displayed. They were clearly committed to delivering excellence in every aspect of their work, and it showed. Their customer service was exceptional, and they were always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that my OCD needs were exceeded. I am writing to express my utmost disappointment and frustration with AC Direct and their accounting department. My recent experience with this company has left me feeling taken advantage of and let down by their lack of accountability and professionalism. On 24 February 2023, I purchased a fridge from AC Direct and was assisted by Juanitta, who was quick and efficient in processing my order. I had arranged to collect the fridge from Snowmaster directly in Paarden Island. However, I changed my mind and logged a return on Monday morning, 27 February 2023. I returned the fridge unopened and still sealed with the straps, and asked if I should return the fridge. I was told that there was no problem, and that they would collect it. Despite calling to determine why the process was taking so long, it was not until the next day, 28 February 2023, that the fridge was finally collected. I then contacted AC Direct requesting information on the status of my refund, as the unit was returned in a perfect, sealed condition. On 1 March 2023, after multiple calls and emails, I was directed to their T&C page and informed that "all refunds have a turn-around time of 14-21 business days." I expressed my disappointment at this lengthy turnaround time in an email, but received no reply. When I contacted AC Direct again on 10 March 2023, I was informed that the expected date of refund was between the 15th and 17th of March 2023. Despite expressing my frustration and disappointment via email on 22 March 2023, I again received no reply. To my dismay, on 23 March 2023, I received an email stating that my refund had been processed, but that a 10% handling fee had been deducted for a product that was returned unopened and sealed, with the return logged on the first available business day after purchase. As a result of this experience, I feel compelled to warn others about the poor customer service and lack of accountability demonstrated by AC Direct. It is clear to me that this company is more concerned with quick sales than with providing adequate and satisfactory after-sales services. Therefore, I urge all potential buyers to exercise caution and think twice before making a purchase from AC Direct. Instead, I suggest that you seek out other companies that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide timely and transparent services. In conclusion, I have learned a valuable lesson from this experience, and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. Sincerely,
I am constantly being bombarded by SPAM pop-ups on my Samsung Note Phones (Yes more than one). The message bypasses and unlocks the screen lock which causes one to accidentally click on the OK option which in turn agrees to the Opt-in at a set price per day / week or month. I then realized the issue when the phone sent me a message stating that "you have started incurring costs" Called 135 was told that I can cancel by dialling *155# and then cancel the service, also disable the WASP options / subscriptions from here. Problem is they immediately deduct the money from your account. Once cancelled you are informed that the subscription has been cancelled, but.. they already have the money. The amount is not the issue here, but just imagine a few thousand people making this mistake a day and how they are exploiting the system to generate quick cash in this manner. (My opinion, anyway, I digress) I called again asking how, can I, DISABLE the pop-up SPAM messages all together? I was told, there are specific mobile menu options that have to be disabled and was transferred to another department. I was instructed to open the "MTN MENU" on the phone, select the "MTN MsgXpress" option and disable the messages. Problem is, it was already disabled. Still the pop-ups continue with “Spectacular” deals such as "R29 whatsapp bundles for 7 days" and "R4.50 p/d for Music streaming" ETC. I already have a business contract, NO NEED FOR DATA BUNDLES! With no way to date as to how we can disable the MTN SPAM SOFTWARE to stop unlocking and tricking us into accidentally clicking on the spam of the day!
