If Amazon want to compete with Takealot they have a long way to go. The courier DPD Laser is absolutely useless giving Amazon a bad name. Waiting for a delivery from Friday and I'm told the delivery is on hold. Why is anyone's guess.
After ordering a replacement card, their courier DSV says first available date for delivery is weeks away, then get an email saying they can't get hold of me on my number, so a new date given for some time in March. Absolutely pathetic service.
Very poor service after report of ***** and cancelled business credit card, they say 3 to 5 days to replace, well over 2 weeks and still no card and no satisfactory answer when phoning to enquire. *****ulent transactions on the cards within a few days of receiving them. Makes one wonder, and the bank accepts no responsibility.
Don't ever buy from this "mickey mouse" company. What terrible service and a no care attitude. I bought a bed and mattresses from them on 29 November, on the 23rd December it arrived with the wrong mattress and the bed was broken, it was left here as I had grand children over for Christmas. They came to "replace" the mattresses and ****y bed in March only to find the drawers do not fit! 4 months after my money was taken I still have not got what I paid for and zero correspondence! Absolutely disgusting!!!
What a nightmare experience! I was advised to move over to Afrihost for my LTE wifi, what bad advice! I ordered my sim and it was delivered some 6 days later only to find that it didn't work in the unit I had (fully my fault I agree) the sim card was suspended. I then ordered and paid the R1500 for a compatible device and said to the operator that I would be away so they should phone before delivery. Last evening I enquired as to when the delivery would take place only to be told that it was already delivered but they didn't know to whom it had been delivered. , but they would let me know today (I am still awaiting the call) On Sunday I recieved an email as to the password and device name. Fortuanatly someone in my complex had recieved it 2 days back and gave it to me today. Then the fun began, I could not get the device to work and the device name didn't show, after an 8 minute hold I was finally helped and told that the sim card had been disabled due to the previous "incompatible" device but not to worry the supervisor would take the suspension off the sim card. Two hours later I call again as I can't use the system, the poor operator tells me , but the sim is suspended because it's in the old device, she has said it will be resolved and she will call me back, do I hold my breath? With the Covid 19 pandemic and us working from home the internet is critical to get our work done. Imagine, do you think I will recommend Afrihost or slate Afrihost in the future. I wonder if anyone will even see this from Afrihost!?
