Should actually have no star. What shocking service. In the process of buying a car and then they sell the vehicles to somebody else. That makes me question their ethics. They cannot be trusted. Stay away!!!!
I believe Rain needs to be reported to ICASA. The South African consumer is getting ripped off as the Rain network is extremely poor and their customer service is non existent. They quick to take your money but then don't deliver the service and there is no way you can successfully contact them. It borders on criminality and Rain should be taken to task.
I reviewed Defy earlier this month. After reporting problems with my stove and washing machine it took 4 weeks to repair the stove. Been 6 weeks now and we still without a working washing. The problem with the door was resolved after 5 weeks however now the washing machine wont fill with water and therefore wont start washing. Technician says we have an issue with our water pressure. Very strange as we did not have such an issue before they started working on the machine. Will contact a plumber to investigate and resolve if required. However if it is not a problem with our plumbing and it is actually the washing machine which is the problem then I will report the matter to Consumer Board. During their last visit on 27 June 2019 they never unplugged the dish washer while moving the washing machine causing the electrical cord to be pulled very tight. Now the dish washer won't switch on. These are so called Defy technicians and they don't think that pulling an electrical cord close to breaking point will not cause problems. So sick and tired of poor quality Defy products with even worse service. Stay away from Defy. The chance that you will be sorry for buying Defy is highly likely.
The service received from Defy is nothing but shocking. Being a loyal Defy supporter for years I have come to the conclusion they don't deserve that loyalty. Their products are anything of quality and reliability, which was synonymous with Defy in years gone by. Not to mention their after sales service. If you buy a Defy product you must ensure to budget for frequent repairs. Having a problem with my stove and washing machine often, i submitted a service request three weeks ago. Still the stove and washing machine is too be repaired. Technician arrange for a visit to attend to the alliances but then dont arrive. Appalling service. Good luck trying to reach somebody of authority to address the matter. I for sure will stay away from their products. There are many alternative good quality and reliable name brands fighting for market share. I will support them in the future. Anything but Defy.
