Don’t know by calling SARS useless would do justice to all the other utter useless government entities that ordinary people have to deal with. Something that was fully functional and decent prior to 2016 now is nothing but a collection of unprofessional, ill advised, unknowledgeable, irresponsible individuals. I am not sure how many more times I can use “un” or “ir” before I describe SARS but I know the combination can be infinite. SARS begs us an ordinary citizens to submit our income tax so that they can take care of the corrupt, unemployed and generally lazy people in SA but what I don’t understand nor do I condone is when I submit my income tax ON TIME why I always, and I mean always have to beg, swear, get angry before I get my money back? Turnaround time of 21 days of SARS always lapses and none of their employees nor their super clever auditors who lack basic understanding of time equation (Iam puzzled how they even get that tat level) ever contact the citizens for additional info or just to notify about something. Why SARS is so quick to take our money, action our income tax but so turtle slow to pay back our money. Two years in a row SARS does this to me. I have to wait up to 6 months until one of them wakes up and actually does something constructive… They mess up my docs but no reply to ask for new set. Yet after submitting the docs all over again I am hit with another 21 days of waiting period! Why? It’s not my fault that your employees are unprofessional and irresponsible. Why hit me with an additional 21 days? What is so complex about doing your job on time, correctly and efficiently? I probably will have more chance witnessing the second coming than getting feedback from SARS but this is what I think of you : SARS your service, your call center and everything about you is nothing short of PATHETIC! Come next tax season I promise you, you will work for your money!
On 3rd June I was admitted to ICU for a heart arrythmia at Bedford life hospital. Firstly his bedside manner as a Heart specialist was horrible, he mumbled a few words and left while I was still busy asking questions. He said a heart monitor would be brought to me in the morning and I waited and waited, evenutally my husband had to call his offices to find out what time it would be brought to me. He also failed to inform the nurses there if I could be sent home, the nurses where not sure either. (no communication between nurse, patient and doctor) needless to say I discharged myself once his assistant delivered and fitted the monitor at 3pm. 24 hours later my husband dropped off the monitor at his office. a week later I called his assistant and asked for the results of the readings and was told that he was very busy and the device was on his desk and that Friday he would look at it. It has been 4 weeks and I am yet to find out my results. I have no idea if I need medication or surgery to correct my heart arrythmia, this is pathetic service from a so called health specialist!! It shows me that he cares more about money than human interaction and health resolution. SHAMEFUL SERVICE!
I went to but a single coil for my twisp,was told that I could no longer buy singles and was forced to buy a pack of 5 for R200!!! This doesn't suit my pocket or needs. It's like being forced to buy a carton of cigarettes when you only need a pack. to make matters worse, they have come out with a new range of devices as I have been advised that the older devices will be phased out. new devices are more expensive and filters too. They promise that the new device filter lasts 8 weeks but the same was said about the current filters to last 3 weeks and I had to buy a new filter every second day. Now in a situation where they eventually going to push people to buy newcostly devices when you where perfectly ok with the old. I'm now in s position where IM going to change brands because twisp is forcing their high priced devices and accessories on to people. What happens to your old device? Forcing you to spend R200 on 5 filters when you only need one or its either that or a new costly device. So sick of twisps crap. They help you quit and then once you hooked they enforce new expensive devices and equipment. Not to mention the new devices guzzle liquid which is just as costly!!
