I went onto my banking app and was told to load new app. I did this and followed procedures - got a verification code sent to my email - entered it and wham was told I must visit a branch - REALLY NOW DURING LOCKDOWN. I called the customer care line only to be told they cannot assist me, they don't know what could be the problem. I tried deleting the new app and going back to the old app only to be told I must use the new app. The original message said If my phone cannot use the new app it would say so and the old app would continue working. Now I find myself with no way of doing my banking and no person to assist unless I go to the branch and WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS if this will sort out the problem. I am beyond upset and am looking to move my account away from Capitec due to this lack of foresight. Oh yes and I am IT literate so customers who are less IT savvy will have even more problems.
I just got home from shopping at checkers- I purposely went there to do my monthly shop so I could start the my little garden 2 seedlings. My purchase should have given me 10 seedlings but already checkers have none- the promotion started yesterday only. I complained to the manager who seemed totally shocked that they had run out so I wonder where they went to if the manager does not seem to think sales are high enough to finish them. I awai for tomorrow morning when I was promised a call to tell me when I can get my seedlings- checkers Northcliff corner.
I took a loan with Yuppie Cash. The debit order did not go through, in loan contract it states that it will represent and they will track account. First day due was Friday 29th. May on Tuesday 2 June I was contacted, I said account had the money in from 30th - debit order did not try to go off. So I made manual payment to Yuppie Cash . This will have been in their account well before 9th of June but they updated their computer system then. On 10th June I was listed on credit bureau as being debt collected! This listing has prevented me getting a bond. Yuppie cash firstly did not even consult me that they were listing me, I had already paid in full before the listing was done and they did not follow LEGAL proceedings. I was never informed that they had done this until now when I look for a bond. I contact yuppie cash get assured it is going to be removed within 48 hours. But today after 48 hours get tole it will take 7 days. So yuppie cash have now lost me the house as in 7 days the bond will be TOO LATE. How many others are they doing this too????? Can consumers not have a list of over zealous lenders? Does credit bureau not insist on full documents before listing people?
Borrowed from Spotcash last year... paid loan, credit bureau still shows as ACTIVE loan. I have emailed and requested that they sort the problem but no reply is received. I will be going to credit ombudsman in 20 days as is my legal right. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
FNB upgraded me from Platinum to private client, firstly they did this to my cheque account and did not do this to my credit card. This meant that I stopped earning ebucks as the accounts have to match! I have sent numerous messages to my private banker (a service I pay for) and I receive a reply saying I will have an answer within a day! but I asked on 6 June, 25 June, Aug 6 and to date have still had no response from my personal banker. Phumla Kulu is supposedly my \go to person"as FNB advertise. Well I am disgusted with the service and the fact that TO DATE I am still not earning the ebucks like I was on Platinum"
I applied for a loan, it was approved, I signed documents and agreed to debit order. I received sms confirming debit order is loaded but for three days now have not received the loan money. I have emailed two days in a row but received no response. Has this company gone bang. WARNING- do not apply! I will update should they debit my account for a sum they did not release to my account.
Tried to use my STD BANK credit card. Declined ! <br> Called bank and told I need to FICA _ I did this in November 2014, Jan 2015 and now again 13 March 2015!<br> I was told all is in order. Made an online purchase.... 14 March. Tried to draw cash on 15 March to be denied and told to contact bank.<br> I contact bank at 8:50 on 16 March to be told not to worry problem will be sorted in about 10 MINUTES.<br> 4 Hours later I call bank again, am told NO systems are down and it is not a FICA problem, my customer number is not linked to the card.There is nothing they can do until standard bank is working again.<br> I call a third time - feeling that I had been fobbed off with lies, only to have consultant drop the call. I call a 4th time... demand somebody who can actually read a screen and deal with whatever problem standard bank have created...in the mean time.... my purchase on Sat has been returned - sending food to a family needing it delivered desperately now delayed because STD BANK decide to re freeze the card. Blood pressure through the roof, customer satisfaction minus a million and a family hungry another 2 nights waiting on standard bank so payment can be made and goods delivered.
