GFS is used by TEMU as last mile deliver in SA. A parcel comes quicker from time of order in China to Jhb than from Jhb to Dbn managed by GFS. Last mile delivery is done as per Uber schedule. If selected Uber is not coming your way.... JUST WAIT till one is coming your way. Feedback and order tracking is also non-existent. I have informed Temu. I will stop buying from them if they continue using GFS.
Guys, Beware Temu.... They demand payment before they even start the delivery process. Their SA parthers do like wise. I received someone else's package in September 2025 after making full payment to Temu , then payment to the collaborating partners. I informed them. Temu promised a full refund. A full month later, still no refund. I contacted them again and after 6 weeks, they again promised a refund after I sent the pictures of the incorrect items. I did that and then the SA courier partner came to pick up incorrect package . But will no refund from Temu going on month 2 and the courier too whom I paid to deliver the initial package. I have not mentioned the name of the SA courier as yet, as I think they are owned by Temu... so the **** broadens. Never trust Temu or their Couriers.
I have banked with Absa since 1981 when they were still United Bank. ( 44 years means nothing to them ). I turned 60 in June 2025 and started collecting a SASSA Old Age Grant. I went to Absa around then and informed them that my income has changed and that I would not be able to pay my current Credit Card and Cheque Payments at the same expected rate due my SASSA status. Absa said, No problem..... we will give a micro loan to pay your accounts. I have been paying the 3 instalments accepted by Absa since then. Credit Card, Cheque Overdraft and Micro Loan. i also requested them to close both my Cheque and Credit Card accounts. Now that the micro loan has been paid up, I am still paying the installment on Cheque Overdraft and Credit Card. Absa has instructed MacRoberts Attorneys based in Pretoria ( I live in Durban ) who instructed another attorney in Verulam to sue me to amend their payment arrangements with me. Guess who is gona pay the legal cost of this..... ME. NEVER EVER TRUST ABSA.....THEY REPRESENT *******ION TO THE CORE.
This is a ****.... They send you an SMS with a contact number that rings for 20 sec and then cuts off. Constantly asking you to call them. If you were near me, I would have paid you a visit. How do decent people go to for for a company like this..... your interaction with normal people is indecent and also *******. Expect the same in return
I left a message via phone to contact me on 22nd of Feb. Got a auto response email stating I will be contacted shortly. Nothing happened. Send another message same route on 25th Feb... Same response. Nothing happened. Sent another request today 28th Feb.... Guess what.....
My wife walked into the hospital for a drip. No visitors. Allowed. Was. Dead in 3 days. Hospital said it was sepsis of lungs and released body to me. I contacted state pathologist for PM. Found my wife died of a brain hemmorage due to multiple skull fracture. Hospital staff says they dont know what happened
I handed over a legal matter after i suffered an approx R125k loss against a building contractor to Legalwise over 10 years ago. Within the 1st 5 years, Legalwise lost all the documents and receipts i gave as evidence 3 times. Every time, i had to make copies at my cost and give them a new file. This 1st attorney they allocated, had the file for 7 years and he did NOTHING. My numerous requests to escalate the matter was never attended to by Legalwise. Thats how Legalwise will manages your affairs. They have now allocated a 3rd attorney in mid 2023. He has been battling to locate files ever since. As per Legalwise, they have allocated just over R100k for costs. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH - I HAVE NOW ASKED LEGALWISE TO JUST MAKE ME AN OFFER TO GO AWAY. I have also requested the details of the Oumbudsman that manages their industry a year ago..... They are still ignoring me.
1. Had Legalwise for many years. 2. Put in claim against builder who ran away between R 100k-R 150k 3. After a year - Legalwise lost all certified copies of proof documents handed to them. 4. They wanted copies to proceed - gave copy of certified file to them. 5. After a year - Legalwise lost file again. 6. 4 years later, while i was deployed overseas, they requested copies of file again.... I requested my wife to drop off copies with them.... they said copier not working and asked for originals, said will make copies and return originals... 7. After 6 months, when i returned and queried status of claim.... 8. Legalwise lost file for 3rd time with all originals.... 9. I brought in the 2nd contractor at my cost to provide Legalwise with new statements...... done. 10. now 10 years later Legalwise got a new lawyer to handle claim as their previous lawyer had closed practice and emigrated after he billed them for 1000's of rands and did nothing. 11. In past 6 months, their new lawyer has billed them for R7.5K and now wants to get another evaluator to evaluate cost of completing the building which is going to take another year or 2. I am still left with NOTHING because LEGALWISE IS MANAGED BY IDIOTS. I NOW WANT TO SUBMIT A NEW CLAIM AGAINST LEGALWISE TO SUE LEGALWISE. THEY SAY, THE POLICY DOES NOT ALLOW. NEVER TAKE OUT A POLICY WITH LEGALWISE.....THEY ARE A ****. I prefer they return my installments paid to them over the years or pay for my claim themselves and let me walk away. NEVER TAKE OUT A POLICY WITH LEGALWISE.....THEY ARE A ****.
1 star is way to much....but i had to give a rating reqd by site. This is a company managed by *****ED IDIOTS. No Customer Service. No integrity Never keeps advertised promises....its just a marketing ploy. I cancelled my service by giving 30 days notice..... My Rain locked my number for 30 days..... which expired yesterday. I could not make or receive calls..... Today, my number is still not released by rain and available. RAIN - I WANT MY NUMBER BACK. Staff who work for rain, know how *****ed they are but still work for them. When they cannot respond, they say, we will call you back, which never happens......or, i will escalate your issue, which never happens..... BEWARE RAIN - THIS WILL DEFINITELY COST YOU MORE THAN IT HAS COST ME. RELEASE MY NUMBER BACK TO ME. I AM PORTING TO VODACOM.
Biggest mistake.... do you know that you can only buy Rain Airtime and Data from the Rain website. NO ATM OR DEALER IN SA SELLS THEIR PRODUCTS. And their website banking protocols belong in the last century...... IT DOES NOT WORK. So i asked to be ported back to my old network..... AND RAIN IS PLAYING DIRTY GAMES BY DELAYING MY REQUEST. ITS BEEN OVER 24 HOURS AND STILL NOT PERMISSION TO PORT MY NUMBER. 1. I need my number....i am not going to change it to suit the *********** Rain people. 2. in calls to their call centre.....was another nightmare.... i) Call one took 5 min and was cut. ii) Call 2 was answered by a female after 6 min who did not understand english and she cut me off . iii) Call 3 was unanswered after 11 min and i cut the call. iv) Call 4 was answered by Vitesh after 6 min and he said he understands and will sort the matter out in an hour. It has now been nearly 3 hours and still Rain is playing dirty games by not releasing me.. And i cannot make or receive calls for the past week because i cannot buy Rain airtime or data. RAIN - LET ME GO SO I CAN GET ON WITH MY LIFE..... STOP never ever make the mistake of getting a MY RAIN sim card...... it will ruin your space.
